I bought same Bosch projectors on Ebay for a retrofit, but I have a question, it has 3 wires for Bi xenon mode, 1 is for the ground and other positive, but # 3 is for what?
This is a 3-wire solenoid; you need a special circuit to control this and keep it from burning out. One solenoid is the "pull" solenoid and is powerful enough to open the shield, but generates a lot of heat so it shouldn't be left on more than a second. The other is the "hold" solenoid and will hold it in place without using as much power, or making as much heat. (cont.)

im assuming the shield switches between high and low beams?

Uh, you made your point. We can all agree that the electro magnetic motor is fully functional.

yea, i think so. maybe he likes flipping the shield. u gotta admit its pretty cool.

@DAGSTERZ26 You mean the Solenoid?

@DAGSTERZ26
Funny thing that this is a solenoid not a motor... But yes... should have it working with Xenon....

wouldnt it be easier to have some sort of pin instead of the 'hold' solenoid?
