I am in dispair at the moment :( , i don't want my mom and my dad to go to hell ... I don't want to lose anybody that I love in this life ... I am depressed and I try really hard to believe in God because I don't want to go to hell. I wasn't born in a christian household. It's hard to live knowing that your loves one will die one day, really really hard

Fact, Faith, and Feeling sat on a wall. Feeling was the first to fall off, feeling reached up for Faith, but then Faith started to fall too. Faith reached up and grabbed onto Fact. Fact was a part of the wall and pulled the other two up.

What I am saying is, the Bible replaced the Council of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told me He never told anyone to write anything. By this disobedience , there are thousands of different christian denominations. Also there are over 1 billion people on this planet that can't even read...I am one of them (autistic). My 6th sense is in full gear to hear the Holy Spirit though which is much better than reading a book full of contradictions. for example...will there be a Rapture? I know the answer.

Jesus never told me to brush my teeth, yet I do that every day. That's a poor argument.

@zerosister I'm not interested in yet another "bible contradiction" website... I'm wondering what contradictions you'd like to discuss. I'd be happy to explain to you why any of these are not contradictions. It just takes some research and common sense. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Be informed and intelligent, and read the bible for yourself.

The bigger question is, how do you know that there's a Holy Spirit?

Christians...u have been deceived. Jesus left us the Holy Spirit to counsel us. The Holy Spirit comes first then you might get confirmation from the bible. The bible has replaced the Holy Spirit's ability to tell us truth. I am in contact with the Manifested Spirit and this is His message. He is speaking to your spirit NOT ur head.

I don't agree with Greg on this. I have no doubts about God's existence and the Bible being His word.

Also, it is possible to _know_ you have eternal life, not just hope for it.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1. John 5:13).

"The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God" (Rom. 8:16).

I know there are people who can doubt their salvation, even though they don't doubt the Bible being true. Those are two different things.
