New too planar got this model took it out bit too windy I think and smaked into the ground didn't even get any air and bend the motor shaft so new motor on the way and set the plane up better see Howe I got next time nice plane tho
I broke my prop on this plane and i want to change it. On one side there are letters (8X6) Any idea where the letters need to be facing? The front of the plane or back to the tail???
Great little plane. Just needs a bit more carbon strength rod under the wing as i feel the wing root is a bit stressed for aerobatics and the front wheel on the tricycle undercarraige is a bit bendy could of been better with a thicker gauge wire...a bit twitchy on the ailerons so put in shorter throws, but great value for money and flys really well in standard motor / battery set up...well pleased
I just got the plane and theres way too much throw in the alerons move the z pin down to the closest hold on the servo, and out the farthest on the control horn. I had to notch out the servo a little more to get the pin in and to give it clearance. I also taped the leading edge of the wing and rudder. Get help with this plane if you have never flown before. The sim just doesnt do the real thing justice and you'll probibably crash. Have someone to take the controls. Let them trim it out first.
Hi, I'm thinking of getting this plane, but I don't have much experience in flying. I've seen a friend of mine trying to fly it (he doesn't have much experience neither), and every time he took off and tried to make a turn it rolled and ended up crashing upside down, why does it happen? is it because of the servo throws?, what are the required servo throws for a beginner?
Its a great beginner plane. Shorten the control throws on all the alierons, rudder, and especially elevator. Very sensitive if you dont. Might want to get a different RX and TX and program this with dual rates.
hi i am very interested in buying the art-tech cessna particularly the V2 (blue one) the 1 with the tri-blade propeller compared to this since it looks more realistic than this skyartec cessna. unfortunately you guys don't have a flight test video for all your art-tech cessnas even for the red one (older version i guess).just wondering.performance-wise which one is more stable and powerful? hoping for a detailed response.
The distance is line of sight. As long as you are in site of the aircraft, it will not loose contact. The price is listed on our site. Come check it out!
how long would it take for the average person who never flew a RC aircraft before to gly one... I never flew on e but I use flight simulator a lot and fly well so i understand the concept
thanks man...the reason why i was wondering how i would manage an rc is because flying a sim or real aircraft requires at least one hand on the yoke..one hand on the trottle ..a thumb for pitch...feet for rudders...but i see ppl do all of these actions with only their thumb and index finger..anyway when i get one ill get help to start...my concern is breaking any part of the aircraft
I totally understand you. I am a full size aircraft pilot myself and I understand where you are coming from. You should take a look at our Jpower Cessna. It is a much more scale and better flying Cessna all around. We do carry full spare parts for that bird.
I got this model yesterday. Sadly it came without aileron option. What do I need to get ailerons moving? And one thing, shouldnt this plane on the vid have the antena tied along the lower part of the body?
is it 3 channel or 4

do you reckon that this plane could handle the weight of a small camera, like a wireless cam or a handheld cam?

how does it handel on shorter grass?
microflyyer 2 years ago
Not well at all. Recommend turning the landing gear into a tail dragger. Put on some 21/2 dubro light wheels. Great for grass.
Cheers, Nick

Each person has a different learning curve. If you are confident on the sim, you should be okay with a 4 channel Cessna. :)

No, this Cessna is not made to hover. It can do aerobatics but no hovering.
