  • I had my uncle swearing theres M15! i said is it AR15? he said no M15! Im thinking i never heard of M15! so now its m14 with shorten barrel, ok, or BAR with shorten BArrel, no now its a AR15 but its called M15 to get around the legal limbo. OK i got it now. Theres 6.8 comming out as M15 from Armilite so the confusion continues but i dont care as long as the 6.8 ammo comes down from.90 cents round to .30 cents for plinkering. get the 6.5 which is better round for big foot hunting/zombie killi

  • As far as I am aware, the M15 from Armalite only comes in semi-auto platform. This is probably M-16. Never know though.

  • That sound like a burst shot...that means it is an automatic....M-16

    Not an M-15--those are semi-auto...E1

  • @ETHRON1 They're fully automatic (or Semi-Automatic). It's sometimes has select fire or it's just three shot bursts etc. etc.

  • @evilmonkey159

I didn't know you could order those...(well for us with the proper papers anyway)...LOL

    E1

  • I remember seeing the M-15 with bipod in old Army recruiting literature in the early '60s (I would pick up the brochures at the post office).

  • Actually, there is an M15. An un-produced heavy support variant of the M14, with a Bipod, and a pistol grip, instead of the C-stock.

But it was kind of redundant, so they stuck with the M14 only, at that point.

  • I feel that there needs some clarification in here.

Back in 1994, the government passed the '94 Assault Weapons Ban. Among the weapons specifically banned by the government was the Colt AR15, so any "evil" black weapon called AR15 was illegal to sell or own. To get around this and to avoid copyright issues, manufacturers simply called their AR15 clones something else. The weapon in this vid is NOT an M16. It is a Class III (automatic) rifle-length Armalite M15, with an A2 carry handle.

  • there's no weapon called M15 in the real world! Classic army call the M4/M16 they produce for

M15, M15A2, A4 etc because they're not allowed to use the real name!

  • Indeed.

  • this guy is shooting an M16A2 or something

  • is this as fast as it can shoot?

  • what guns do they have there to rent ?

    rifles i'm most concerned about.

  • on every video I watch, the guy shooting always forgets to take the safety off. lol

  • forget? no - i was going through my safety procedures and carrying out a small but efficient risk analysis - forgt indeed

  • @huwdm ar 15 right? the full stock and the long barrel tell me it was made before an m16

  • Cool Video Five Stars!

  • my brother works at that range his name is Jason

  • Its a great range - they were very helpful.

  • M15A2 not A4. The M15A2 has a carry handle and front site with a barrel length of 20" not 16 like the carbine.

Nice assed gun, thinking of getting one personally, about 1300cndn.

  • what type of ammo does it fire?

  • 5.56mm

  • its an m15a4 tactical carbine. My friends dad has 1 :)

  • i don't think its an a4, top doesn't come off of this one. Plus barrel is way too long.

  • ya def not a carbine!

  • looks like a m16a2

  • Just going on what the guys at the range told me. Knight Shooting Sports in Clearwater.

  • @huwdm will the 223 take down a big foot or angry zombie? you have to fire the 223 in burst to be effective. 3 round burst. just in case you miss.

  • The M15 is a civilian version of the M16.
