I don't know how a Boss Me 25 sounds on a line 6 spider, so I can't tell you if it's good or not. All I know is that a Fender amp (in my case Frontman 212R, but actually works fine on all Fender amps) gives a great clear tone (if it's on clean) and has a nice touch for the ME device :)

Ibanez amps work too, for so far I know

no sorry, these are my own settings; but just play around with some buttons and you'll get a setting that's very similar to these :)

so there are 60 permanent presets and 60 patches which means there are a total of 120 effects right? :D

@xXYumekoXx Yes that's right, but the 60 patches are a lot easier to switch between because the other 60 are stored on the buttons next to the display, so you need to push one of those and then turn on the variation knob

@nazarbukhari for looping with the me 25 on stage you'll have to get pretty good with it; but for other uses, I think it's great for live performing :) easy switching between 2 presets (if you place them smart) and easy acces to the wah/whammy pedal (but make sure you set everything right before you perform)

I don't know if the line 6 is better; haven't used it too; so I can't tell you which ones the best. All I know is that I have my Boss for like 1 and a half year and i'm happy with it :p

@nazarbukhari no problem :D its easy to switch between those 2, just 1 tap with your foot will do the trick :) you have 60 permanent presets and 60 patches which you can edit and save,so when you save a clean sound on (for example) 15 and your extreme stack on 16, the only thing you have to do is tap with your foot :)

you can connect it to your pc and record straight into Sonar LE (this program comes with the Boss me 25). It's pretty hard to work with in the begin but after a while it's a very handy and professional program for recording stuff :D

Hey, ik heb deze ME ook , als ik de pitch shifter + octave gebruik gaat het echt heel vreemd klinken (als ik meer dan 2 tonen ofzo tegelijk speel), dan waggelt de hoogte zeg mr op en neer, weet jij hoe dit komt?

das een klein minpuntj bij de Boss ME25, bij een specifieke pitch pedaal heb je da normaal nie, maar bij de ME wel. De pitcher van de ME is nie goed genoeg afgesteld voor meer dan 1 noot te pitchen.

De Digitech whammy pedal is wel een degelijke voor dit effect :D

@Dust0fNation I don't know the exact settings but, I've got a light preamp (nothing to distorted), I've got delay on, OD/DS, a lot of reverb and the wah-pedal.

This patch is still on my Boss and I like it very much :D

can anyone please help me how to activate the expression pedal? in the owners manual it says press the tip of the pedal firmly to toggle the pedal fx light. i tried n it doesnt work..please help!

@ss4metaldeth try again after you released the pedal, and press it real firmly, it's something you need to get used to... it felt a little weird for me too, in the beginning, because you have to press pretty hard on te tip

@KlaasLanszweert i dont remeber deleting it, i write komments pretty frequently..Il write it. again, that pedal with the loop has really really really boosted my playing skill to a whole other level. You dont even need an amplyfier to use it and i can recommend it to everybody.

@Israelsniped120. Nice price for a guitar like that ;o The looper functions good and is very easy to use, 1 tap to start recording, 1 tap to stop recording and 2 taps to end the loop. That's all that's to it :)

@KlaasLanszweert so much better than the ME-70...if you wanna use looper on the me-70 you have to start and stop recording with the expression pedal making it pretty much unusable

hey man. Let's say I'm in a clean preset let's say number 4. Can I change immediately change to preset e.g. 42 without going through all of them? Because I see that you change between them with the up-down footswitches

@NtGism I don't think that's possible... You need to arrange them in that way that they're next to each other (which is fairly easy)...

@MDefsquad9 This is the Boss ME-25, it is designed to do things like that :p you just set up your effect (preamp, reverb, delay etc) and then you can use the expression pedal (the big one) for volume control or wah or pitch (= whammy) or the new freeze.

ik ben aan het twijfelen tussen deze, een Boss ME-70 of een Digitech RP355. is de kwaliteit van deze goed of kan ik beter een duurdere een ME- 70 nemen?

@iRoell1234 de digitech ken ik ni zo goe, maar als dit je eerste pedaal is of ME-pedaal zou ik nie direct voor de ME-70 gaan... natuurlijk zijn de klank en mogelijke variaties een stuk beter van de ME-70 maar met de ME-25 ben ik ook heel content ^^ deze is enorm gebruiksvriendelijk en je vindt alles met een beetje prutsen :p

@laxpi actually I used the cable of my external hard drive (you can get such a cable in any PC shop) and plug it with the square formed end in your Boss ME and the other end into your USB-port of the PC. Run Sonar LE and you're off :D
