I'm working on transitioning into beat-mixing. (whole notha level:) Any suggestions on technique or videos showing techniques. For the example that you used, did you loop, then drop in the second song? It sounded great. Thanks for the advice thus far.
Stevie, I like how you make these demos for your customers to clear up any questions and confusion that they may have pre-booking. Almost so much so, that I am considering doing similar vidz for my customers. Thanks for the idea bro!

ps- 4 words on the mix transition.......LOOP ROLL FADE OUTS! lolz
Great video DJ Stevie Dee! Very impressed with your company and skill overall. What would you recommend is the best equipment/programs to use to beatmix? I personally use a mixer and fade from song to song but I've really been looking into learning how to beatmix. Is it just a skill you've acquired through practice? Either way, you do a great job. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated.
@KSUgpgt It's practice! Learn your music, and start practising with it. If you want to really learn to beatmix don't let a software auto mix it for you, you won't learn that way. you can use Serator or Virtual DJ but do it yourself and you'll get better and better at it
@uptownxpress Your right a real dj, or should i say a truly talented dj does it(beatmatching) all by ear, and manually with the pitch. Who needs to look at a computer screen? That's amateur city! These computer programs that are out are making it so any smuck can call themselves a dj!
@KSUgpgt Don't try and learn it by using a computer program, that's a shortcut! If you'd like to be a truly talented dj than learn the skill of doing it manually and by ear! Any geek can look at a computer screen and keep the beats in sync, but that takes no skill! And isn't true djing or beatmixing which i really like to call hotmixing!
Good informative Video Keep up the good work!!!!
