"milk amplifier" ?!? I'm surprised they didn't call it a "nuclear milk re-formulator". I don't remember if this stuff was good, but they sure make me want to try some. Channel 13 in the New York area was originally an independant station out of New Jersey. In the early 60's it was sold and became one of the first educational stations in the country.
I used to watch cartoons religiously on the commercial station. There was a host with a FEW kids who would go through the making of Bosco each and every day; from choosing the glass, pouring the milk and then mixing the sugary goody. I can still hear the spoon in the glass......
i actual had a Bosco Bear! My Mom sent away for it. He was much cuter than the bear in this ad.
