  • I love his voice, lyrics, rappin' abilities, and song writing abilities! :) so immediately and undeniably a work of art!

  • Wo Oh, Wo Oh, Wo Oh It's undeniable how brilliant you are In an unreliable world you shine like a star It's unforgettable now that we've come this far It's unmistakable that you're undeniable February 5th, friday morning, purple dawn, Broke a yawn, as I stepped through the fog, like I stepped to a song A moment like a poem, you wish you could hold it I shut my eyes like it's frozen, it's gone when I open It slipped passed the clouds right there where it lingered
  • Many people underestimate the beauty and passion of this song , for it is truly a love song to god.

  • good song? add in playlist!

  • 7 people dislike a good thing... too bad for them. 8D

  • See you the 9th!

  • he is undeniably amazing

  • His lyrics are poetry! I love this song

  • Hello Everyone!

It’s Music that’s keeping me alive.

My life is so difficult and the only thing to forget my problems is the Music.

All of you will think I’m crazy but you’re wrong

Because singing and writing I can be who really I am.

I’m so grateful because now I can smile, dreaming, screaming. (And I owe it all to music and to god)

Well, I made some covers and I just upload it to my channel and I’ll be grateful if you stop by my channel and check it out.

    Thank you so much!!

  • This is actually a Christian song as many use it in a secular point of view.. so sad:(

  • @sexyhispanic25 how do you know? and btw your name is very christian... -rolls eyes-

  • @SuperFooled So your going to to judge me by some silly little screen name?

  • @sexyhispanic25 That's actually a really good thing. If music by Christian artists is getting out to the public, and people are drawn to it, it's a good thing. People will come to respect this artist. That's our jobs as Christians is not to sit in little boxes but to reach out and touch hands with the human race.

  • @HulloKat the way you worded that made it sound as if you were proclaiming that you are not human, weird, but ok.

  • @Kippster096 The way you worded THAT made it sound as if you were proclaiming you're a bit of a jerk. Thanks for the intelligent input.

  • @HulloKat A jerk? How so, I was simply stating my thoughts on your comment in a rather jokingly way.

  • @sexyhispanic25 It can mean something different to every person who listens to it. Thats what make art so wonderful.

  • The "debate" about whether or or not this is Rap is a stupid one. Stupid. Of course rap is part of the song. Anyone who denies this hates backs and their culture. That is "Undeniable". Also, they are assholes.

  • @Orf2008 Why would anyone hate "backs" as you claim?

  • how is it possible that there is only 609,xxx veiws of this song!!!? Shocking! we need to pull our youth back from the trash talking, illiterate music they are subject to these days!

  • This dude has some seriously good songs!!! All around great singer!!!

  • and i use to think that this song was sung by brandon heath. its so much better now that i know its mat that sings it

  • now this is a good song right here

  • @miguelcsi thats my fav song

  • His voice...gosh I have chills. Mat Kearney is a fantastic artist!

  • You should rap more often...

  • Great to see a hip-hop/pop artist making a movement to bring the glory of God to the world. God bless you brother!

  • I know i've seen this A LOT more than 546,489 times...wth YouTube! smh

  • omg i finally found this song its been stuck in my head for legit 4 years

  • holy shit at first i thought he was lip singing to a blac k guy

  • mat thank you for your music and the message in the words

  • love this song and the album,Awesome*****

  • He should honestly do more stuff like this. This is catchy and is uplifting.

  • This is my all time favorite love songs. I want to find my "undeniable" love.

  • What the fuck is it with VEVO shit not wanting to play. I can watch any other fucking video but the moment I try to watch something with this shit on it, it never loads.

  • i love it when he raps, @filmguy619 I hear you.

  • chris marten and classified mixture here?

  • I'd say him and Natalie Portman are better than 97% of the rappers in the music business

  • I love it, it's almost like "chain of thought" like dada. I can so identify with it.

  • Nice job Mat. I'm really digging your music!

  • i saw him today at an apple store! he was great.

  • Is this song about Jesus or Spiderman?

  • @josaliasm ....well..um..GOD! der duh der :]

  • @josaliasm A little of both :D

  • seen him live with owl city...hes awesome and this song is sweet..he freestyled a verse to this about indianapolis which is where i seen him

  • @coolkidswearGAP Saw him with Owl City too, in Denver. He's so great.

  • @cheekychick8 that concert was amazing :D

  • @coolkidswearGAP He did the same thing in Salt Lake City and Utah. We were impressed that he knew so much about Salt Lake. He is awesome!

  • diversity I likie

  • whats with all the low veiw numbers????? everybody knows these songs!

  • Thanks for the great music Mat. No one can paint a picture through words and music like you do!

  • 4 people are deniable.

  • I don't like this VEVO much, or whether it's simply YouTube -- non-Christian artists shouldn't have an ad or be displayed around Christian videos.. like now it's Beyonce in skimpy clothes.

  • At the Owl City concert i went to a few weeks ago, Mat went into the audience and when he got back onstage he was like "who grabbed my butt?!" haha it was hilarious!

  • I saw him in concert Sunday night in Boston and he's so good. He has the guts to climb right over the gate and walk into the audience! :D

Haha and then he said "Hey dude, why're you staring? You could have helped me over this gate! My pants are tight! Haha" He's a really nice guy (:

  • @satanhasswagger i saw him last year in New Hampton, MA and he was incredibly genuine and hilarious. Wish all musicians had his authenticity!

  • these guys are great live, I just came back from the concert :)

  • wow, didnt even expect the rap part :P interesting

  • Adoro este cantor da voz lindissima, banda das melhores para meus ouvidos

Assisti seu show em Boston na boate Avalon.Nota 1000.

  • "this isn't rap, this is poetry!"

  • 4 people have never met anyone who is unforgettable and undeniably brilliant.

    ♥♥♥ Mat Kearney

  • i agree mat should be known by more peop,e, but i'd say he's pretty well known as is. His music was used on greys anatomy and scrubs, tv shows seen by millions and just the other day at her concert, taylor swift, had some of his lyrics written on her arm. Pretty damn cool, for a eugene native to hit it big...

  • Okay. Okay. THIS MAN IS FREAKING BRILLIANT!

  • omg im seeing him in 18 days and i cant wait!!! i hope he plays this song!!! <3

  • leave it to the christians to take a great song like this and claim it as something to worship a god....its about a girl get the fuck over it

  • from the fish. com music review -- "The roots of that song are really in seeing joy on the other side of pain-of coming to know God and the undeniable nature of who He is."

    it's always about God.

  • @cindin2010 This is an insult. God didn't create our triumphs, God isn't responsible for everything good, we create our own way. This song is about letting that someone who is feeling down know that they are special. They are worth something. NOT ABOUT GOD.

  • @quirkfulquagmire So no one can relate the song to what they want. Everything isn't one dimensional.

  • @quirkfulquagmire lol go b***ch somewhere else, we all know wut the song is about. u just cant handle the truth so, STFU AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

  • @cindin2010 Alot of people can interpret this song in many ways. That's the beauty of music. Songs don't just have 1 meaning. They have different meanings to everyone. For instance, look at this song as him singing about his true love, his soul mate. Makes sense that way doesn't it?

  • @cindin2010 Now that's not true. Maybe that's what it means to the him, but people interpret song differently. It could mean that to you but something completely different to someone else. Im not saying its not to him or you im just saying we all interpret it differently

  • @98Hockeychic98 I'm not taking sides, but I do know that he has many early stuff that talks a lot about God and this song aired a lot of Christian radio stations.

  • @cindin2010 Wow! That's amazing, I love that [about him]!

  • @cindin2010 i hate those people so much.

  • @mudge19681 THANK YOU

  • How the hell is this guy not more popular???

  • @dpoll12 I heard this song years ago and still can't believe how he hasn't blown up...he's one of my favs....every one of his songs keeps getting better and better

  • @dpoll12 How the hell is this guy not more popular???

Good question...Probably because he doesn't sound like Katie Perry or Gaga.

For my part, I don't really listen to "more popular" music, only listen to "good" music. I like to fetch for artists and discover new stuff instead of being resigned to what's offered to me.

  • @systemcrash1969 Takes the words out of my mouth ;)

That's exactly what I do. Search for an artist I like and follow a line of links to new artists. It became some sort of hobby..

  • @dpoll12 its up to us to call and request his music and tell people how great he is. If you are here you already know that he is great. We have to get people here. But I totally agree with the comment.

  • @dpoll12 Like i say to everybody who asks about artists who are good but not popular. It's cuz he refuses to sell his soul to the devil. anyone who's at the top of the charts has either sold their souls or has connections to people who have. peace and blessings

  • I prefer his normal indie music, however I love this, its got a Everlast kinda feel to it :)

  • Fuck christianity. Good song, and thats what i came to hear. :)

  • @KMFDMable Couldn't be more well spoken!

  • @KMFDMable It's ok the like the song. It's not really necessary to put down other people's religions now, is it?

  • @KMFDMable 100% necessary. Need no excuse. Go away.

  • i thought this was supposed to be Christian. Why is he worshiping that girl like that. looks like mat kearney has his god mixed up

  • @eriqbrown this song has multiple meanings. I think he wrote it intentionally as a Christian song, with a Christian message. It can however be applied to many things in life, including the one special person in your life. Also, don't take the music video to represent a songs actual meaning. It was created and directed by other people, and the original message may not be represented in its entirity.

  • i love this song :)

  • I got one: It's not rap. It's not spoken word. It's the fabulous Matt Kearney.

    Conclusion.

    Dot.

    Period:)

  • guys, this isn't hip hop

    this is poetry :D

  • @louiscarr899 hip-hop is poetry, you're just closed minded and think hip-hop consist of money, hoes and weed, you sir are extremely misgiuded and sadly mistaken. stop listening to the radio.

  • @nodnarb2151 lol

im "closed minded, i think hip hop consists of money, hoes and weed, i'm misguided and i listen to the radio..."

you have read 8 words off me and you are throwing false accusations at me and trying to define of what i think hip hop is, you don't even know me to start with, your prejudging and your acting like a jerk.

this isn't the place to start doing all of that nonsense

i came here to listen to music and make a light hearted comment

    get a grip mate

  • @louiscarr899 so then what is your description of Hip-Hop?

  • @Haseeebo it's music just like any other genre

i don't gave favourites or whatever i see all genres of music in the same way

  • @louiscarr899 That's fine, but genres still exist and you CANNOT claim Rap is the same (musically) as Country or Rock. It's fine to think of all genres as music, but genres do have definitions. Moreoever, your first comment "This isn't hip-hop, this is poetry"...as light hearted as it may have been, it implied a lot.

To a person who relates more to Hip-Hop, sees it as true poetry and a medium for storytelling, your comment can be a little offensive and definetely undermines hip-hop as music.

  • Im almost certain I've heard this song but i really do think that i wouldnt forget a great and powerful song such as this. Anybody else love the verses(well the chourus too, of course, but the verse in particular. I think this combo of styles really did wonders for this song. Not to mention his voice gives me shivers it's so beautiful.

  • I heard this song in a Cold Case episode, season 5 episode 8, its pure hip hop style.

  • Totally hip-hop influenced. Duh. Doesn't make it any more or less badass.

  • Fact from Music Choice: Mat Kearney's strong Christian faith influences his songwriting.

Mat Kearney is in fact Christian, and so are his songs. Please don't chew me out if you don't agree, but it's the truth. Also if you must chew me out, keep in mind that I'm 13 and would prefer for you not to cuss, or use any profanity when doing so.

  • looks exactly like my old dean lol

  • undeniably outstanding!

  • this is one of my favorite songs

  • I think that it does sound like it could be about God I like it either way...I like Carolina Liar's song Show me what I'm looking for and I swear that song is about God at least when I listen to it thats what I always think about the "oh lord" helps..lol...and I'm not some holyroller its just want I think of... but it doesnt have to be..I could see it being about a couple things..luv the song either way as well...Love is love...either way they are love songs and love is redemptive

    :)

  • Why does such a great talent have to be wasting his time on gospel?

  • @technogeek5000 its not gospel, it is technically "uplifting" so christian radio plays it. It also helps because this sounds sounds as if it could be about god. I do admit that anyone who wants to get famous should not go into christian music. But i dont want him to sell out. i like the music he's doing now, its real

  • @technogeek5000 Because he doesnt want to waste his time promoting the shallow and temporary. "Its undeniable how brilliant You are" - is not just a line of lyrics, its praise to the living God.

  • WTF is wrong with people this is music. Not Bring Me the Horizon or most times Nicki Manaj gosh I may be black but I know wtf I am talking about. People are so stupid this man is the truth.

  • as a eugene resident its great to see mat having such success. anyways, this song and his music is amazing. as far as spoken word versus hip hop. I see spoken word and hip hop interrelated and linked. that said, spoken word, in poetry slams is usually just that, spoken word, poet and words, no beat, no band. just poetry. hip hop, and by extension this song, is beat based and centered around poetry being "rapped" at a fast manner, Mat is rapping around the beat, he hits the beat.

  • I can never get tired of Mat. He is amazing!

  • Or you could just say it's wonderful.

  • A white guy who sounds like a black guy when singing this song. Who knew? Good song none the less.

  • february 5th ismy birthday =) it makes this song that much better <3

  • Dare I say it, I think Mat is the present version of Johnny Cash.

  • @dajohnman57 No.

  • I love this song! God really is undeniable!

  • Heather is Undeniable...and My Love Is Black...

  • Who cares if its spoken word or rap. Is it good?

    Yes duh

    Are you enjoying it?

    Obviously

    End of conversation

  • @DanikFrazer Like Duke Ellington once said, "If it sounds good, then it is good."

  • praise jesus

  • He's so believable

  • so what if it is rap, the people who commented obviously like the song because they listened to it. dont let a genre change your opinion

  • It definitely is rap notice how he says he learned how to one his profile and it even says its one of his genres on google how is it spoken word its in no way spoken word

  • internet tv - Undeniable music is

  • internet tv - i want to try my best to make websites look like shit with movies music etc

  • I just learned that he's married, and I'm very disappointed! lol

  • b. reith sings/raps as well... like toby mac, pod, and i like family force five "the baby" or twas the night before christimas... music is music... good job, very relaxing and fun to sing along to... hard core raps mainstream is like bone thugs and harmony, but t bone it great.... keep music positive.

  • Comment removed

  • Ha ha, you guys waste so much energy arguing about nothing. Thanks for the entertainment, ha ha. Keep it up. Mat Kearney rocks. Great song.

  • @BBB517 how can you argue about nothing

  • @thedeanofmean1 very carefully...

  • @thedeanofmean1 Another argument arising XD

  • @thedeanofmean1 you need people like me so you can say hey there goes the bad guy

you need websites like me so you can say hey this website is shit

  • @itspeaks037 myspace if you want to join them with imeem as well @#$@#$@ two shits collade

  • i remeber drivein' and this song pops up and i fall in love with it right away.......when ever im sad or anything i turn this song on and think......aand just let all my problems slowly fade away <3

  • rap is actually an acronym for rhythmic artistic poetry fyi.

he sounds in rhythm to me...but more of a hip hop sound and not "mainstream" at all.

  • The Renaissance artist who in Christian pop circles is simply known as the "Closer To Love" guy (that song made up the Christian charts to #1 in autumn 2007) He music is the background of so many commercials and jingles and it just shows how brillliant he really is.

  • wooooooowww.ik hou van uu mat kearney...u inpsire. (belgium)

  • Song is sick

  • wow i thought he was black

  • @pizzamaster3 He is.

  • you are correct, spoken word and rap are different, but this is more hip-hop based (which is neither). The derivative of hip-hop is a combination of Popular music, art, and dance, a mix between poetry and rap with intent to sound rhythmical. Spoken word is not meant to be rhythmical at it's core.

Example of spoken word: Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen

Notice how he is not trying to rhyme or stay on key, he is just talking like he would to anyone else. :D

  • @lemkeadam Rap and speech aren't that different. neither of them is melodic. I mean Rap is just spoken word that rhymes and has a set tempo. Almost anyone can do it and it takes almost no talent.

  • @TheMunkRocker

rap does take talent you dont kno nothing bout hip hop or rap

  • @thedeanofmean1 Double negative. you just said I DO kow something about rap and hip hop. ^_^

  • @TheMunkRocker

    explain

  • @thedeanofmean1 ...if I DON'T know nothing, then I do not know nothing. The only thing other than nothing is something, therefore if I don't know nothing, I do in fact know something. Of course you'd realise this if you spent a day in school.

  • @TheMunkRocker

well you keep reading your philosophy on wiki but u still dont kno shit about rap you probably heard soulja boy and you think you know everything bout hip hop i could denounce rock music the same way i could say for example slipknot sucks and its just a bunch of fags who wear masks to sell records and groan and and scream who cant sing for shit but thn tht wouldnt be fair for the artist would it or to rock music to judge it so close mindedly and look at it in a ignorant way

  • @thedeanofmean1 Actually, if I'd never heard Stone Sour, the band that Corey Taylor, *the vocalist of slipknot* was originally in, I'd completely agree with you. However... Corey Taylor can most certainly sing.

But you're correct on all other counts.

  • @TheMunkRocker

and you pretty much pwned ur self with tht little philosophy u tried to quote cause u jus admitted tht wat u do kno bout hip hop and rap music is tht u kno nothing lol yea i i like philosophy books as well they are the shit

  • @TheMunkRocker

and you actually do know something bout hip hop, you know tht it consists of rhymes and tht it has a set tempo, but you know very little

  • @lemkeadam I see where your coming from..but he actually does rhyme in this. I don't care how good you are, you can't rhyme words without trying..you have to know when you set certain things with one another to rhyme stuff. Just my opinion.
