She was actually so unprofessional that she fell asleep??? Unbelievable! She only does this work 3 days a month. It's not okay to fall asleep even if your labor was 12, or even 24, hours long. What was she thinking?

My total labor was 6 hours which she was not even apart of that long. She was only here part of that. So I found it even more disturbing that she fell asleep among many other things she has done wrong and has personally chose to not fix. We paid her to do a job that she has YET to do. And until then, these videos will remain to warn others. We paid for professional prints that we NEVER received!

wow from reading the letters and watching the video i agree with you lucy all the way and by the way lynsey needs to learn to fight her own battles instead of having her little friends do it for her, and yes i agree she was sooo unprofessional i would be pissed all they care about is the buisness but really its a beautiful thing that they are doing for people, they need to realize its important to us, we want all of the pictures duh, what is she gonna do with them really?

Second: to the people who sent the messages *Bonnie*... she has every right to say what she thinks of this "photographer".. she has the proof in the pictures of the poor workmanship so how is it slander and libel if it is true?! My boyfriend is a professional photographer so i know all about this sort of thing.. i completely agree with everything you say. as far as facebook goes, your correct is does automatically do that. you have a beautiful family and her "photography" does NOT do your family justice. in my opinion, they are crappy photos with a horribly distracting watermark...

I tried speaking w/ her from the get go, she chose to not respond to me and instead send me a letter saying if I wanted to speak w/ her I had to do so through a lawyer, so we did..... when she thought I cropped our waterlogo instead of being a mature adult and just ASKING ME perhaps it wouldn't have been carried so far, but SHE choose to start a war it seems.

that water logo is absolutely absurd and distracting from the actual photo. i was a certified photographer at olan mills and the started selling cds, and even on the photos from the disk there is no olan mills logo! and olan mills has a logo on their prints but it is discreet and in the corner not plastered across the whole photo!!! I am a certified photographer and what she did is VERY unprofessional. i agree about her not taking photos afterwards those are the magic shots! every moment counts

i'd change your privcy setings on your facebook page so that only your friends can see your page and if that doesn't work create another facebookpage under another name and give that only to your friends and family to keep it private

can you say these two persons obviously have contact with her and theyre just defending her according to your photographer's side of the story!.. I was given digital pictures taken by a professional with NO watermarks.. just their logo in small letters on a corner and why is Laura assuming the extra $50 were a "tip" =/ Anyways dont listen to ignorant ppl Lucy. other photographer usually give dvds or cd but she dose own the rights to the photo's. My suggestion to you is maybe next time have someone else take photo's also that you can send to your family. she should be giving you a cd of all you photo's and if you violated the copyright law that is one thing. if it was a film camera she would have to give you the negatives why because it is digital dose she think she doesn't get to give you all your photo's?

Through all the legal stuff we're still going through she doesn't have copyrights or even a license to the photos. My big thing isn't a CD my big thing is just getting what was owed to me what I was told I was going to receive and be able to share my stuff I bought & paid for.

The other thing is I know you are really upset, however I feel a few things she are doing are un professional. I think you really need to clear this up with her. I know you are trying however. Please don't take this the wrong way, but doing a product review on youtube is much different then doing a review on a person. I think she should have stayed awake. And should have not cashed your check when you payed her too much., other then that. I think you are used to getting a cd after mall photo's.

A doctor wont take an hour nap because the surgery is 8hrs which is longer than your labor and birth was!

To be honest my partner and i are assuming the other photos were probly ruined by the wrong lense or settings. that is the only reason we can think of for this incident to happen.

a 4x6 print is not value for money. We give a complete disc of every photo, unedited and edited.

My partner and i are in the photography business and i can tell you for a special moment like that we would be taking photos and photos and not missing one shot.

back up batteries and cards and a computer to upload while we are there.

My birth we had no photos taken but it was a learning curve the 2nd birth i will know what to expect and i can imagine how you were feeling.

no one was allowed to nap at my first birth, that was 26 hours. My husband slept for about 1hr during my second, which was 13 hrs but as you say, my labour was at a stage where he could. I would be SOO pissed off if my photographer fell asleep

On FB? I just deleted the profile picture since I didn't know how to work it. Figured **if it did have to have the logo on it**** I'd wait till someone could show me in person how to make sure it shows up, b/c we didn't know what our rights were

when you were making it your profile picutre did you select the entire picture? if you didn't, you can just drag the box to select the whole picture, and it should show up. if she wants it in the little picture, you can go to your profile and put your mouse in the right corner of the picture. click on edit picture. then edit thumbnail. then you can adjust how the little picture shows up.

Lucy said that it automatically crops it out....but when you go into her pictures like she showed....and you go to the picture that is her default picture.....the water logo is still on there!....So this woman needs to really take a chill pill!

Exactly right; Facebook crops any and all profile pictures automatically to fit the window of the profile pic. Even if the picture was a full body shot, for example, it would show ONLY the upper portion of the picture and in order to see the whole picture, one would have to click on the actual profile picture. So the cropping was out of your control. As someone that uses FB herself, if I'm not mistaken, the photographer should already know this herself, and should've visited the pg to see it.

OMG. I've taken photography classes & studied it in my spare time. She only prints the 4x6's so she can have more money for herself. And chances are she did not get them printed professionally so it would be cheaper for her. Her photography is amazing but she obviously has no idea how to run a photography business. What kind of photographer only gives the customer 4x6 prints and a slideshow (that can be created at no cost from home on a personal computer) I'm sorry this happened to you!

That lady responded before even knowing ANY of my story. As for the $50 I agree, no one sends a "tip" if they aren't satisfied. Secondly if she had really thought it was a tip why wouldn't she have had said Thank you? Or at least ask to confirm and make sure it wasn't an overpayment? Thirdly, who in their right mind thinks they honestly deserve a tip after sleeping? RED FLAG!

WOW! These ppl that emailed you are really on lynseys side!!! They dont even consider your feelings at all. They tell you that You are on dicey legal ground. Slander/libel are serious charges.
