though the reasoning they give in anime is that they are tiny blade which reflect and refrect sunlight in such a way that it looks like flower petals

this isn't a new bankai ability. its just a matter of where they're standing. his bankai is supposed to be 1000 swords rising from the ground. it can't be a new ability after to an earlier form of the 1st level when they're are 3 levels of his Bankai.

2: its a new ability in ways he never used it before, but some logical thinking would come to this possibility :)

3: his moves arent 'levels' of bankai, their just techniques he uses during bankai(kind of like hitsugaya and his moves, diffrent aspects of the same thing: ice)

senkei is indeed a diffrent form, as in he reformed all the tiny fragments into swords and uses those to surround his enemy and improve accuracy, he can still make them go back to their bladed form.

goukei isnt a new ability, never said anything otherwise

and hakuteiken is indeed a different attack but that doesnt make it a different bankai level.

Yeah, true, this bankai is diffrent from Teikei and Shukei. Byakuya doesn't stand in the middle of the blades, the blades surround the enemy instead!!! I love this Gokei thing, it's so awesome!!!

it's not completely different. it's just a modified regular version. the regular version is when he sends some of the senbonzakura to attack and leaves some behind for his protection. goukei is just sending everything at once to swallow up the enemy. how is that completely different? you can use a vcr to record or play, 2 different functions, but it's still a vcr. one more time "completely different are shukei and tenkei." they're like dvd and blu ray players :). okay?
