guys my line was supposed to be joke..(on the famous Clapton is God statement). I love Clapton (esp.Cream...the Original Supergroup). But you've got to admit
Brett Garsed is from another planet. Amazing chops but always tasteful.
he is influenced by Horn Players(coltrane, etc) ,or better said Guitarist that are influenced by horn players ,Allan Holdsworth,Tj Helmerich and so on.
You're definitely right, but he is also know for his perticular slide guitar technique : he doesn't use open tunings , but standard , and he angles his bottleneck to play some intervals, which is very clever ! he's definitely one of my fave guitar player, and i was lucky enough to met him and talk a little with him .Very nice and cool guy.
Can't believe I've only discovered this guy yesterday!!! Heard of him for years but never bothered to check him out, what a mistake on my part. He's incredible. Phrasing, tone, control, articulation... Brett kicks ass!
alright you palindrome using fuck. how about you post a :50second video of yourself improvising. If it's better then you have the right to talk shit. If not keep your simple minded opinions to yourself
^ ^ i wonder how many hours this guy spended learning this.....style.....that you find attractive...you are just one of those who get fooled really easily with many tones played...but that also means that yo know nothing about music so i dont blame you :-D
@ClaudioMariola Sorry, you're wrong, playing guitar isn't all about complicated playing technique, it's also about composing, emotion, etc. Whcih Clapton masters pretty damn well.
Yea Brett is a really good mate of mine. He is also my guitar teacher. He is one of the best people I know. He is a true genious, a real gift to the world and the most modest musician I have ever meet! Cheers

Clapton is the most overrated penthatonic butcher of the century. His laziness is second to none. He doesn't deserve a tenth of all the money he has.
