I'm not an attorney, but I do have legal experience. I just read that contract, & it's pretty clear Mr. Spartz had predatory intent. It leaves the Decks with no rights or legal recourse, & reserves all renewal & cancellation rights to Mr. Spartz. Any attorney would've told the Decks to RUN. And to refuse even basic Profit & Loss accounting to a major shareholder? Mr. Spartz, you better start talking settlement fast, because once a jury sees this, they'll see right through you.

@BackToGoAgain Adorian's mother DID sign the contract as his guardian, but she is not an attorney. Any competent attorney would have laughed at that contract until they puked, then re-negotiated the entire thing.

I've known about Emerson Spartz for a while. When he was a kid (12 I think) he set up mugglenet, a Harry Potter website. I've heard him talk and be interviewed. From what I know he is a decent guy. That's what shocks me so much about this. I can't read the article (on an iPod) but I plan on doing so.
