  • Hello B1... bye,bye Iran...

  • Mexican Border Patrol

  • To all you idiots who say the Tu160 is a copy of B1, I suggest you look at the Tu22M before opening your mouth.

  • Music to my ears. Despite all the problems the aircraft has had its still great to see them flying and feel them as they fly over.

  • Why do they sweep?

  • @EMINEM9824 The wings sweep back in the classic delta formation for travel at supersonic speeds. This reduces drag and stress on the airframe. All supersonic aircraft have a swept wing design for this reason.

  • @EMINEM9824 Ever see a hawk or eagle fly? They Extend their wings for max lift & Circle in the sky on rising air curents. When they spot prey, they tuck the wings in & dive at max speeds. The swept wing does what birds do natually. Straight for low speed & high lift. Sweep back for hi speed. Best of both worlds.

  • Wow. That is a spaceship!

  • WOW! What a sound!! Loud ass plane!!

  • Saturn V. Watch that!

You are looking for the word "Blistering Sound Effect".

In a salt air enviroment, near an ocean, you'll get them.

Such as the Patrick Airforce Base Airshows with the Thunderbirds, or, Blue Angels!

    Crackle Crackle Roar!

Be great if you could get that show and Post it. Thanks.

I am not a pilot. My Nephew is a Pilot.

    .

  • B-1 is junk. They always come back emergencies, and the pilots are arrogant as hell cuz they think they're flying a fighter. As a controller, I hate these things; only love them when they leave my scope :D haha

  • @bellyflopman - They must have been Air Force maintained aircraft 'cause when we (Air National Guard) had them, they were maintained by people with many years experience and didn't have near the trouble with them as the Air Force.

  • @cyborg6886 you're air force bud, same as the reserve. its a fact that the bone, has had some issues, and alot of them were used as cann birds for each other.a plane is a plane bud

  • @outdoorsman767 - Funny that we didn't seem to have near the trouble that the Air Force did. There is a difference between the AIr National Guard and Regular Air Force. Let's start with the high turnover rate of the Air Force which equates to less experience than most guard members who make a life long career of working on various aircraft. But I do agree that the Bone did seem to have more than it's share of problems though. Still an awesome aircraft.

  • music to my ears the beautiful sound of death

  • Love the sounds of freedom :)

  • @gafalcon7

If anything its the sound of death. Beautiful but deadly. Don't get me wrong the Lancer is an awesome piece of art but you might just aswell go and print freedom on a nuke!

  • Very good....

  • Giant F-14...

  • hope they have one of these at RIAT this year

  • Music to my ears!!!!!

  • @SergeiSovietUnion1 Must be Russian history. The B-1 ha been around a lot longer than the 160. The other way around. Virtually every aircraft was in response to the US version. You've got a good sense of humor though, I'll say that...great Vodka .....piroges too... I will give top marks for the T34 and the AK47. as well.

  • @nwtruckerll And the TU22 was around a lot longer then the B1.

  • Initially, the B-1 is just a big fighter jet, marvelous

  • um yea except the B1 was introduced in 1974 where as the TU-160 was 1981 looks like thee russians are the thieves here

  • @KThegame007 And the tu22m was introduced in 1972. So who is the real thieve here?

  • Not only that...they had a bowling alley inside!

    Damn, what a plane.

  • Where was this at i need to go there

  • does this still use turbojet engines? And they are capable of afterburning right?

  • 0:50 - sonic bomb?

  • @verzz88 no, it just happens sometimes when they bank.

  • @verzz88 no...air was humid, water particles break apart on the wings.

  • 5 people are permanently deaf from a B1 flyover.

  • 5 people had off your audio system

  • the b1 kicks ass

  • Can't believe this is 40 years old, has everything just flat-lined?

  • When it goes into the Delta swept wing..ahhhhhhh. I just love the LOOK and the Sound! I used to see those every day in Oklahoma! Of course you grab your pictures on your walls when they fly by too.. :-) Good Times!

  • god, that is a seriously loud plane

  • Sexiest jet in the sky!

  • nice!!! The b-1 kinda has some family resemblance to the tu-144, except no canards

  • what airshow is this???

  • The sound of freedom. I love it.

  • Chuck Norris is onboard.

  • you've played oblivion, right?

  • could this be any louder?

  • this video makes me wanna be a pilot

  • My tax dollars proudly at work.

  • favorite bomber, my uncle flies it

  • NICE VIDEO LOVE THE NOISE THIS PLANE MAKES

  • Wow, great Music...

  • 0:50 Breaks sound barrier.....Win.

  • We have these come and go on the flight line at Davis-Monthan AFB. One flew over the dorms the other day and set off several car alarms. It's just so loud, and deep.

  • Sounds great.

  • The B1 is my favorite airshow aircraft.

  • I am in love ! What a fucking nice sound in my headphones

  • I love listening to this with the headphones on. My ears will be ringing for a little while and I won't even care. The Bone rules.

  • I can attest these things put out tremendous noise and are damn beautiful.

  • The noise from this beast is the ONLY thing I love from being stationed at Ellsworth AFB! My barracks are less than a mile from the airstrip.

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad they can't break the sound barrier anymore. That used to be awesome, but the sonic booms would break windows. The old people complained about the noise around here and now we have no more airshow.

  • @AdolfotlHitlerpochtl no they have the speed to travel over 800mph.

  • @Jmarley912

The maximum speed of the B-1 is 795 kts.

  • saw one of these in tucson at davis monthem or however u spell it there so bad ass

  • YEHAW!

  • The b-1 does use 15 engines. Good observations.

  • @Splerkus B-1 does not use F-15 motor they use the same motors as the F-16 GE or Pratts not sure.

  • @Thespurscowboys

B-1 uses 4x GE F101 afterburning turbofan jet engines. F-16 uses GE F110 which are the same core design .

  • I SAW THIS BAD BOW AT THE JONES BEACH AIRSHOW 2 YEARS AGO, AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!FREAKING AWESOME1!!!!!!!!!!!

  • are the b-1's engines the same as the f-15? lol they look alike

  • @tomcatpilot13 How do the engines look alike? You can't even see any of them in either plane, they are inside the engine housing... And no, they aren't the same...

  • I want one

  • This video does not give it justice! When that bad boy takes off with full after burners on it's insane.

  • whoa man!! this is LOUD!!

i think the bad people will die not so much from the bombs but from the SOUND ENGINE of this plane!!

    ahahahh

  • I love how the things wings fold back when it gets up to speed.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm sorry, but if I were President this would have to be Air Force One. I prefer speed and utility more than glossy paint and comfort. Also, it has sexy curves like a model - I like this aircraft!

  • 0:49 sweet :D

  • Its amazing how that huge plane is going that fast and doing that stuff. do the marines have one?

  • I prefer the Tu-160

  • @soundslave you are an alcoholic and you are very white and cold. you are russian commy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @playstationrox999 Actually I'm British. I just like the look of Russian aricraft. Su-47, SU-34, Mi-24 Super Hind, KA-52, and lets not forget the Antonov An-225

  • @soundslave The thing is russia is drunk, america isnt. F-18 is way cooler looking, especially the Super bug.

  • @playstationrox999 lol. I you can't sit and drink Vodka in the middle of the day then the worlds gone mad!

  • @soundslave Holy shit, I was at Oshkosh the year the 225 visited. That sucker is so big it's w wonder it can stay in the air. Very awesome jet.

  • @soundslave, how can you prefer a cheap knock off when you can have pure american muscle lol

  • @soundslave Do you prefer "Mac and Me" to "E.T." as well? ;-)

  • i was at EAA Airventure like 3 years ago and they had one fly and land, theyre so loud and it wasnt even going fast or anything, why is that?

  • @105Raptor The engines are very large and so is the plane. Therefore the engines put out an enormous amount of power to keep the heavy plane in the air. That is my guess as to why the plane is so loud.

  • @playstationrox999, ohh, thanks. i agree with your name too lol

  • @105Raptor Their so loud because it takes a lot of power to go fast, lots of power equals big engines, big engines eqaul lots of noise.

  • @Indogyearsimdead, im not stupid =)

  • @105Raptor I thought you asked why they were so loud. Must have been someone else and I responded to the wrong person. sorry.

  • @Indogyearsimdead, if you were serious, my bad. i thought you were trying to make me look stupid or something. its that english person ive been arguing with lol

  • @105Raptor I was, it was the quickest way to explain it.

    BIGGER

    BADDER

    FASTER

  • @Indogyearsimdead, ok lol. just wanted to make sure is all

  • The first time I saw one of these amazing planes, I was hiking at Philmont Scout ranch, and it flew threw the canyon I was in. It was figgin amazing. That night a F-22 did the same. Best day of the trip.

  • Kudos MrRudy10101 - That IS the sound of Freedom. Some people can't stand it!!

Me, I cherish it and seek it.

    Great vid.

    Thanks

  • The best airshow plane EVER!

  • I saw this airplane in Fidae 2008, In the take-off the floor was vibrating like an earthquake. Very impressive.

  • 0:45 is often the last thing some people hear. It's the B-1! Sound of Freedom!

  • @MrRudy10101 Oorah. Nothing can beat good old raw american power.

  • the first time i saw a b1, i was at edwards afb and i was walking through the hanger to go to the restroom and i felt the ground shake and i turned back to see the b1 do a profile pass just outside the hanger!

  • love the b1,awesome!

  • Also I read about an upgrade to the B1 with improved sensors, a V-tail, and 4 of the engines used on the F22 so it would have super-cruise capability, but the project got shelved...

  • The B2 is a great bomber when you need the ability to strike targets in an environment where there may be hostile mobile SAMs, as in the 1st Gulf War. They both have their roles to play.

  • U guys say B-1 is better than B-2.... Anyway both aircrafts are using by USAF

  • hahahha,

Thats the last sound some people hear before they die.

  • I hope you do so too.

Afaik in the last air strike of a B1 about 100 civilians got killed.

  • Never ever said war is clean, or fair.

  • 2 of these flew over my house a couple years ago for an airshow. it was rediculously loud.

  • Which its better B-1 or B-2?

  • i worked on b-1's for alomost 5 years, payload, response time..... b1 is by far better. plus no PRP. more bombs dropped in the sandbox every time i went. b2 is just a toy!

  • A very expensive toy?

  • exactly, a b1 without the mods only runs 400 million a b2 is something like 1.4 billion so considering the b2 is good for nothing.........

  • @thumbprint666 You'd be surprised, a B-2 can be very nice. They say the only way you know it's there is by the crater it'll leave in it's wake. Bet the boys out in Iraq don't mind that...

  • vq30detcomanche,

    better at what?

  • Why this its not on the top ten on the millitary channel. On the 10 best bombers.

  • TU-160 I believe is mearly another soviet carbon copy of a western bomber. Sure its faster but on radar its a hell of alot bigger lol.

  • i gave 5 stars good vid

  • tu 160 is faster b 1 lancer

  • BOMBER THAT I LIKE TU 160 BLACKJACK

  • I like the Black Jack but is it me or does it look a whole lot like the B-1 Lancer

  • It's heavier, larger and faster though, it has a beautiful sharp nose and it's painted beautiful white)))

The Russian name of the plane is White Swan

In fact the two planes do look like twins, because they were designed with similar tasks in mind, at the same time, just like MiG-15 and F-86.

  • This, in my opinion, is the best looking aircraft ever!!!

  • Clearly you guys need to hear a Vulcan bomber take off then...

  • @Gungadin23 Yeah, or a C-5 galaxy. Loudest damn thing I've ever heard.

  • @Truex007 A c-5 is quiet compared to a Lancer, or an F016 for that matter.... -USAF fuels apprentice

  • those things f***ing roar like nothing else! used to watch them take off at moffett right by my house.

  • My favoties military plane!

  • this is the loudest plane ever, it has 4 F-16 engines on it, its insanly loud. Its not even using afterburners in this vid. so fucking loud

  • Worked on those pigs for 6 years.. I never got tired of watching them take off.. specially at night.. Just awesome!

  • Your a retard. Did you hear any booms? Just because you see a PrandtlGlauert singularity does not mean its supersonic. Go learn something. An airliner on a moist day will create this condensation on takeoff at 160kts.

  • Your a retard. b1b lancer is supersonic

  • Where the hell did I say it can't fly supersonic? You fucking retard read my damn comments. It's not flying supersonic in this video. I was deployed with the damn things for 4 months, I would think i know a little something.

  • I would think i know a little something.

Apparently very little, like arguing with supposed retards on the internet and rules for capitalization.

  • these things used to come out of colorado springs and buzz the philmont scout ranch with two fighter escorts. It was the coolest and loudest thing ever. AMERICUUUUUHHHHHH

  • HOLY COW!!!! That NOISE!!!

  • most beautifull noise in the world!!! niach niach

  • My second favorite bomber. My #1 is the B-2 Spirit

  • My favorite Bomber is the B-52 Stratofortress.

  • 7 yea you wish. I am 13.

  • ass

  • My favorite aircraft. Great vid thanks.

  • cool

  • Uh, let's see, if I crank up my BOSE full blast, it is still 1/10 the real volume of these magnificently LOUD JETS!

UH! WHAT!? I CAN'Y HEAR YOU! MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING!!!

  • Thats one scary looking and sounding airplane!

    Very very nice.

    The "Bone" as its called.

  • Very nice

  • I cant wait till may 2 2009 dyess airshow!

  • I'm suprised they managed to do a good show without a comp stall!! lol Boo-Boom!!! Gotta love those 101's

  • 30,000 lbs of thrust each!

  • I hear there's talk of a B-1R that will use

    (4x) F-119 or F-135 engines.

  • To bad there aren´t similar videos of the Tu 160 on youtube. I´ll bet the Tu 160 is louder. Anyway I like them both. Great Video.

  • Yes the TU-160 is louder :)

  • That Tu is a JUNK! It would fall apart like everything else made over there. DUH!

  • that rocks!!!!!!

  • If you dtop the video at 51 seconds it looks like it hits a sound barrier or im seeing something.

  • Just condensation, however the same thing happens when it does break the sound barrier

  • Jizz my pants every single time.

  • Jimmy Carter killed this plane when he was president. It was his proudest acheivement. He compromised national security. After Ronald Reagan took office, he brought back the B-1. Jimmy Carter was so pissed, he almost died of a heart attack, or stroke. And as of January 21, 2009, Jimmy Carter is no longer the worst president this country has ever had.

  • @StephenB58 Amen to that brother...

  • Nice sound man

  • Mother Fucker thats loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw this plane when I was still in the Air Force. It was built to survive. 4 Crew members, weapons officer, defensive weapons officer, and the two pilots, can fly the speed of sound and fly at tree top level with its lantern system. The mechanic there told me it uses 4 F-15 engines.

  • They're F-16 engines

  • The engines are General Electric F101 low/medium-bypass, afterburning turbofans, the F-110 used in the F-16 are slightly lower bypass ratio versions using the same core. The F-15 and some versions of the F-16 use the Pratt and Whitney F-100 low-bypass afterburing turbofan.

  • I have seen this plane and to me BY FAR, is the loudest thing I have ever heard!

  • A very sexy plane.

I hope it will kill Iran.

  • Kickass...just plain kickass...

  • Loudest thing in the world it's ridicules but awesome. Best airshow act you will ever feel.

  • damn what a fuckin great sound
