I'd have to agree with RJC i think the concept of "don't judge a book by its cover" should be applied to this situation.We cant make a final decision based on leaked footage and what midway/DC wants us to see.

plus if u think about it this whole argument is completely irrelevent in my opinion. even when the game comes out there are still gonna b people who will critisize. plus both sides of this argument is solely based on opinion and therefore one cant critisize or even stand up for this game.

Mortal kombat should switch Quan Chi for reptile and DC should switch Shazam for Blade(I know blade is marval but i still would like to see him in a game like this) and i think flash should be switched for the Green Arrow

After growing up playin mortal kombat and seeing it evolve from Mortal Kombat all the way to MK armageddon i automatically wanted this game as soon as i heard about it. Although after watching the gameplay footage and fatalities its just not classic mortal kombat. I have the utmost respect for DC but i dont feel it's fair that Mortal kombat cant be as vicious as it has been in the past. if they are worried about their precious characters being mutilated and annihalated why try incorporate w/ MK

Simgor i can definitly see where you are coming from. Without blood, gore, and pure brutalness of MK it wont be the same. Hell MK 1 was the first game i ever owned in 92 for SNES, but i say just enjoy it for what its worth. Yeah, the MK crew said that they threw into the plot about the dimensions merging and that weakened the DC superheroes and blah blah blah. The general concept of MK vs DC was supposed to stay in the thoughts of a bored individual from the get go, not made physical.

There isn't much of a "decent" case to make of it. I don't care much for the game, same with others, but some of us (or just me) aren't bashing others for liking it. Just because there's a fantasy aspect doesn't mean that there's an absence of a personal expectation aspect.

If you think some of the things said by the nay sayers are unjustified or not thought out oh well, that's what's called disagreement and it's nobody's issue if you can't come to terms with that.
