  • Is it easy to get a Firearm's license? I have an air rifle atm but am looking into getting a .22 or .177 Rimfire.

  • i would love one of these rifles

  • I'm thinking of joining a .22 club soon and I'd love something like this once I get my FAC.

How much would one of these be worth nowadays if it was built in 1998?

    Cheers.

  • haha C Zed are you canadian?

  • @ChefPepperoni He is obviously from the United Kingdom ;D

  • @ChefPepperoni Nope. He's an Englishman.

  • I got my FAC through recently and one of these has turned up at my local gunshop, I'm off to have a look tomorrow. As a newcomer to firearms (used sub 12 air rifles for years) there were some useful tips there. Cheers.

  • hey what have you heard of the new cz 22 auto do u think its better than the ruger 10/22 let me know

  • I love .22 rifles, they're great for several things, and cheap. They're great for younger children who are afraid of a gun's kick or sound, great if you have a fox, possum, or raccoon in your trash/chicken coop. I love these types of rifle, and this one in general.

  • what does the shorter barrel do?

  • @GOTHICKICKASS Easier to use in a hide (blind) or inside a vehicle. For me personaly just easier to carry for one reason.

  • @gunvidder lol you are the UK so its not like you can take it with you to a lot of places

  • @airborne101st45 You can shoot it anywhere thats not public land with permission.

  • @airborne101st45 Also he's from the UK he is not "the UK", as that would imply he's the land mass which makes up the UK.

  • @MacDonaldSeumas Sorry for making a typo -.-

  • @airborne101st45 ;D Sorry I felt like being a dick

  • hey,you can use liquid gun blue, also replace firing pin, spring may not be the prob

  • @us1776 I'll look into the liquid blue, thanks, some of the stuff I've seen I wouldn't use. I've allready looked into the fireing pin spring, results later in the year after a long term comarison.

  • @gunvidder I've just bought a Puma Hunter, whcih is based on this gun, with a synthetic stock and it's a carbine model, but what cartridges would you recomend? i'll mostly be using it from the inside of a truck but probably be also sat out on an evening aswell, thanks and i hope you are well.

  • @ChristyTV PM sent.

  • I personally do not use the safety

  • @kaeshin01 Very wise, I prefer to make safe by unloading or de;cocking, eliminate the not sure part of shooting.

A lot of my shooting with this rifle is at night in the dark so It's best to be sure of "safe" without a doubt.

  • @gunvidder very true mate

  • @kaeshin01 I've allways been in safe mode when shooting but caught out once when a coat button fired the gun, ready to take the shot I decided to take a few steps to get closer (gun was pointing down into dirt) NEVER AGAIN !!!

  • @gunvidder wow your a lucky man i actually went hunting a few days ago and bagged a few rabbits you can just never be too careful you know

  • @kaeshin01 Think safe & know It's safe. I normaly wear a zip up coat so I didn't even consider the buttons to be a hazard. Needless to say I now only wear coats or shirts with zip closures or popper studs with a velcro flap over them.

  • ive got the same gun and the wood on mine is much better

  • @snowman452365 Luck of the draw, gllad mine wasn't fancy as I chopped it about quite a bit. The CZ stocks are a bit plain so It's nice to hear about a good looker, look after it !!!

  • @ChristyTV I too would love to know. No doubt, the longer you leave it, the harder it will become - the rules and regulations are undoubtedly going to get stricter.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 Simple enough but a bit long to mention here. Message me if you want & I'll let you know the details.

  • @gunvidder Yes please gunvidder - I had no idea that you'd repied to this. I have been waiting for a response for a long time, from any other English YouTuber. The process seems very daunting, and drawn out, perhaps for good reason. I shall PM you now. Cheers

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 i gather you are in the UK.I`ve just recieved my firearms licence.Took 3 months from me posting it off to Wakefield police.Cost £50....you have to be a member of a rifle range....i`ve been a member for 2years.I`m a novice so had only two types of caliber put on the licence and small number of bullets that i can buy.You have to have a gun cabinet in place...bolted to a solid wall....i got one from ebay for £150.A firearms officer will visit you and check you out to.

  • @longyboo Many thanks man, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, the messages from pervious youtubers have not been coming up, so Ill message them back too. many thanks for alerting me back to this video, and for your advice.

Send me a message & I'll get back to you.

  • you make that history darrel ! !

  • @cameron9873 I will & I hope it will be a good story for the next owner, as it was for me as told by the original 1st owner.

  • @cameron9873 I've got three old farmers guns that have some history, might be interesting to do a vid about them ??

  • @gunvidder yeah that would be great

  • it's about time we got to see your 22lr i have the same cz but in a 22 magnum pick up my 10 shot mag on friday. the wood looks great on it i love my 22 so do my kids all safely 10/10

  • @leekk70 I've been meaning to review all my guns for ages, next is my HMR

  • I had a 10 Bullet clip "Plastic" and the little pin fell out of the bottom and I lost the Spring £45 down the drain :0( Nice little gun Darrall. I keep the bolt seperate from my gun and last weekend I had walked about 500 mtrs when I suddenly remembered I had left the bolt in me gun bag lol

  • @TamrynRimfire You can get spare springs but not sure about the other parts.

£45 ? I've got 6 plastic ones for range shooting.

Those only cost about £20 each with post.

Not forgot the bolt yet but It's bound to happen.
