  • i was at the race at martinsville when we lost them and the next day we drived to mooresville to go see all the shops and we went to penskie and the wood brothers and david stremmes nationwide shop and EVERONE was affected by this

  • Jeez, anyone part of the Hendrick team should stay away from planes around October 20-31

  • i cant believe ricky is gone

  • Rick Hendrick is the man, now his mother is in heaven, RIP Mary

  • i wasnt a nascar fan as yet, but i know now that the Hendrick Motorsports team will always remember and cherish the good times

  • It's unbelievable that this October it will be 7 years since that devastating crash...

I was listening to Jeff's radio transmission between he and Robby Loomis, and Robby came over the radio to tell Jeff that NASCAR wanted to see him in the hauler immediately following the race. The first thing that came to my mind was that he had done something on-track to be 'scolded' for... and then when Jim Hunter came on to deliver the news, it was instant silence. Now Jim is gone as well, RIP all<3

  • hey mr hendrick i miss ricky

  • I really loved this tribute because it explained how important the lesser-known people were, both to the organization, and to the people who loved them. Very moving.

    RIP

  • a nice respected young man gone

  • the lathram bit with tony stewart made me tear up back then

  • such a terrible tragedy. It was also Brian Vickers birthday that day. Sad to think that his own birthday will always be overshadowed by this. Still my thoughts are with the entire Hendrick organization.

  • Such a terrible loss !!!

especially Ricky Hendrick he had such a promising career!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's really not fair. Rick gives so much to everybody. Bad things always seem to happen to good people. It's just not fair.

  • @Gforcebond just like dale sr he can walk out of a car that is demolished and survive but he hits the wall hes dead

  • It's hard to put into words what it feels like to be part of this organization, even remotely, like any of us who work for one of Mr. Hendrick's dealerships. He and his family are so giving it's hard to describe. I can't imagine what that day was like for them. God bless them all.

  • A Terrible Tragedy For Hendrick Motorsports!!!!!

  • i'll never forget when i heard ricky was on that plane. my heart just sank for rick. but to hear about john and his daughters too, its hard to beleive that hendrick motorsports found a way to go on. RIP ALL and we dont forget. P.S. anyone who thinks rick doesnt deserve what hes got remember what he had to lose to get it!

  • I WAS at that race i had pit passes jimme was crying so was jeff i was crying
