Michael Moore doesn't understand Capitalism, it's painfully obvious if you listen to anything he says.

The bailouts, stimuli, and the other government intervention into the marketplace is not a product of Capitalism. In fact, it's the antithesis to free markets.

I completely disagree. There are examples of socialism that are equally as disastrous as capitalism- yes. While agree that 'capitalism' has brought many out of poverty- that doesn't mean its better than socialism. Look at Sweden or Denmark (which is in the world's top three competitive economy). They enjoy far, far higher living standards than the average American. You can have a market economy in a socialist framework- many countries have successfully done so.

For Pete's sake, he has addressed the irony in the fact that he is advocating higher taxes on himself, since he is part of that top 1%. Just because somebody is wealthy doesn't mean they can't advocate social responsibility and a more moral economic model.
