  • no, it's to switch between two batteries... you can have two batteries to extend range if 1 dies you can switch it to 2

  • what gear level were u on when riding it?

also, will it go even faster when peddaling fast with the motor?

please answer, im about to buy it

  • I agree with the two commenters: the 1-off-2 rocker switch is for battery selection. The right grip button is TAG/PAS (twist and go v. pedal assist). TAG allows you to apply power at 0mph.

  • What a piece of crap, why does it stop so quickly? Why not just buy a really light 10-speed that can coast 200 yards before stopping?

  • it a little invention called "brakes".

  • Haha! : D

  • does it come with speedometer? and a water rack

  • i heard that these r "fragile" and so they have low warranty

    is that true?

    also

how tall do u think u'd have to be at the minimum to ride this bike?

  • this bike is not fragile at all. its made with heavy metal. if you can fit on a normal 26 inch wheel bike, you can fit on this.

  • i'm about 5 foot

    would that work?

  • yeah that should be fine.

  • thanks for the review , ebikes are the way forward. nice and friendly and fun.

  • The black ones 2008 which I have and weighing up to 252 lbs I rode mine back and forth to work (little over 3 miles each way, did not charge at work) And I used only electric power no peddles ( pretty much tried to see what the limits were on the motor).

  • I don't know about the American ones, but the Australian E-Zip bikes for the switches - the one on the rear is to choose which battery you're using (there's provision for 2 batteries, one either side) and the switch on the front is to accelerate from 0 on electric, or use the motor to assist pedalling.

  • your right the switch does either left or right side depending on which side you have your battery. the peddle assist mode is the botton up on the power level lights.

  • happy i can help :)

  • what is your weight ?

  • nice video mu bday is coming up and this is on my list of things i want.you helped me learn more about it
