Fremantle is a awesome place i was born there in 1991 and lived there until i was 5 then i moved to rockingham but my dad is a freo boy he was born and lived there until he was like 32 and he moved here with me... but my nan used to live there too i used to go to her house every sunday^^ and for Xmas^^ well all of my family is born in Fremantle.... but i wanna go back there to live when im 23..
Yeah, its not as big as you would expect and if your studying at murdoch stay away from surrounding suburbs like southlakes. There is nothing there but derros and retards
I haven't seen the hippys when I was there but I agree it is a very beautiful and relaxing place. I was going to there around 3 times - missed other places of Perth like the King's Garden, haha.
Thank you for the suggestion. I guess I will keep it as it is ... too much work since I have to re-edit the whole video. Also I like the noises as memories ;o)
Hehehe, yeah, Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi! I loved being there even if it was only for 2 weeks. It is a very different way of life and you're noticing it at the mood of the people there.
I emigrated to Oz when I was 17 in 1965, Fremantle in those days was obviously a different place, to be honest the only places I recognised were the dock area and one or two street scenes. I returned to the UK in 1972 and after nearly 40 years have tracked down an Aussie mate, he still lives in Freo, I'm going over to spend Xmas with him and his wife.
I didn't saw everything about Freo. I heard later there's also an old prison as tourist attraction. I loved being there ... pretty nice place and the warm pacific :o)
oh yes it is ... and I just saw a small part of it as I heard there is also an old prison that shall be worth for visit ;o) But I only was for 2 weeks there around Perth.

Is perth a nice place in general? I'm the same age as you, and I'm planning to study there next year.
I'm pretty nervous about heading there, the lifestyle is different and etc.
Are the people nice?
