we can live happily without oil. We don't need it. THe sooner it can no longer be sort the better. Together, we can be much, but relying on technology isolates us from our true form. without all these machines it would provide more people jobs that machines are currently doing.
I hope to god you're just trolling, we depend on Oil for just about every aspect of our modern civilisation. Everything from the cars we drive, the crops we grow, the paints we use, the medicines you take, the clothes you wear...in our current state it really is difficult to replace oil, especially in the chemical industry where it's a vital raw material. TO create all our chemicals without Oil would be like baking a cake without flour.
If it takes Crude OiL to make Motor OiL, and if were running out of Crude Oil in 40 years, how do we operate our internal combustion engine cars that will run on natural gas and hydrogen? Even electric motors require some form of Lubricating Oil.
It's very hard to see what he's talking about because there is a lot of visual clutter. It would be nice to see this video with computer enhanced animations layed over the real views.
@JustMrMom yeah you are confused because you dont know what you are talking about. reforming is a process where you take straight chain hydrocarbons and (reform) them into circular shaped molecules which increases octane levels and releases hydrogen which are typically used in DHT. When you actually know what you are talking about feel free to make a comment then but right now how about you be quiet
Considering that this individual is talking "off the cuff" without any apparent script, he actually does a pretty good job describing the refining process despite all his so called "uhh's". In fact, those "uhh's" make his talk sound a bit "folksy" too! Anyway, that said, does American Refining Group have any of its own gas stations for gasoline sales to the public? Nobody seems to know!
NIKOLA TESLA could have saved us from this 100 yrs ago! please look it up, he created a wireless energy system that allowed energy to be obtained anywhere on earth! But the big banks that run this world ended his mission of FREE energy for all!!!
The Venom Symbiote is kinda like crude oil - They both are present in the form of black sticky liquid and and separate under heat. Well Venom separates from his host under FIRE but you know what I mean.
@learrus Obsolete since when? Pretty sure 99.99% of all cars on the road today are still powered by fossil fuels. The asphalt under your cars tires comes from oil. The plastics that are used to build, well, everything these days, guess where that comes from? That'd be oil, my friend. Do you fly much? JP8 and JP5 aviation fuel also comes from the black stuff. Do your homework before you make such an idiotic statement.
@learrus Keep ranting about your natural fantasy world as you bang away on that keyboard that was made of plastic, which comes from oil. As you drive to work tomorrow either in your internal combustion engine-powered car or your electric car (which is actually dirtier than gasoline powered cars because that electricity was produced from a coal-burning power plant and are also made from plastic). Or tonight when you do your laundry with detergent, who's ingredients came from crude oil.
@learrus The question of wars being fought over oil is irrelevant. There are far bloodier wars being fought over diamonds, food, water, and other commodities. That's not oil's fault, that's just human nature.
EVs is lightyears away from being useful. You're stuck with fossil fuels for at least another two generations. Obsolete you say?
It's not bullshit, it's fact. Just because you refuse to accept reality doesn't mean I'm spouting bullshit. How much of what I have said is false? None of it.
Some random guy on the fucking YouTube comments section is not going to un-convince me of my research and what I have seen, technologically and other wise.
The air, or what you might call the 'nothing that is around me' itself is electric, and WE CAN DRAW A CHARGE FROM IT.
@learrus Your resorting to hostility towards me simply proves that I have won this debate. I have debated you in a calm, sensible manor. You have gotten angrier and angrier as this has gone on. Why get angry and throw vulgarity my way if you're really right? It only makes you look like a fool who got mad because someone with facts that you are unwilling to accept on his side confronts you. You're an acting like an immature child trapped inside an adult's body. Time to grow up, learrus. Cheers.
Actually, that means I get angry that you are allowing yourself to just throw away the future.
Big Oil is mass murder; I came to this conclusion independently a couple years ago; go ahead and fucking type that shit into Google and you'll see a University Professor came to that conclusion, on his own, also.
GO FUCK YOURSELF, BIG OIL BITCH.
People like you hold our entire species back in the dark ages of oil consumption.
@learrus You're such a pleasant individual. There is no reason for you to talk to me that way. I've done nothing to you, yet you've jumped down my throat from the get-go. All I ever said was that oil is far from being an obsolete source of power because the entire world's infrastructure depends on it. I wish you the best. I hope for your own sake that you can learn to overcome your anger at some point and act like an adult.
The only thing refineries try to "keep classified" other than normal business practices is product output and equipment status. This info can effect the market price based on supply and demand which can have an enormous effect on stock prices and trading.
Hm. I work at an oil refinery and that is not true. Maybe at the oil refinery that you videotaped, but I find it very strange that the only classified material is where it is from and how much a country owns. that is like public information. classified material however is things like instructions for the plant, how they run it, and stuff like that.

Typically by adding hydrogen.

Keep burning that shit, I'm sure the genetic codes of humans every where thank you...
Go check out China's reports on genetic defects directly connected to emmissions.
With the arrival of the ECAT and other systems, Oil is pointless.
I'd rather live in a totally natural world (As in no hyper reality) then one built of toxic garbage.

I am well aware the world I live in has been crafted by plastic.
I don't drive any form of car, I own a BMX.
I am well aware of the problems with EVs and our current grid.
I use natural soap for laundry.
Go research how much damage Big Oil has done to the inventors of the world through suppression and violence.
How many wars are currently being fought over oil?
We can make plastics from Cellulosec, from plant matter.
Remove the bullshit from your mind.
