@Darkpup14 It has to be installed the old way, you need the patcher program that over-writes the minecraft.jar file and increases the texture resolution. It's called MCPatcher, just Google it and find instructions on how to use it.
@BAMIXR I'm not aware of any methods to fix these glitches in older HD texture packs, although I have heard that Notch is creating some APIs to allow mods to be compatible with all future patches. Hopefully there will be an updated version of this pack once this happens!
