This Gillian Duffy episode is absolute gold. Things could not have unfolded more beautifully. She was THE perfect person to confront Brown and did so at the perfect time. Gillian is quite right, the politicians live in cloud cuckoo land, I am 61 years old and have my pension taxed, I have to go to work to top it up, so I have to pay full council tax of 120 pounds per month, gas and electric 100 pounds per month, full tv licence etc. This is the real world in which us ordinary pensioners live. I'll give Gillian my vote.
