I absolutely love my Bunn BTX-B ThermoFresh at home. As for brewing techniques, I always use filtered water and keep my machine very clean. I rinse out the basket, pot, and dry the underside of the spray head area. In my Bunn I can use cheap, regular ol' Folgers because it brews so well. I've used much more expensive coffee in the past such as Gevalia or slightly more expensive Eight O' Clock coffee in expensive Swedish brewers, but even that doesn't compare to my Bunn for an exceptional brew.
