  • Do you know any drivers over there that rev the arm like in the states

  • Over here you don't have to because it's all automatic revving on most trucks, ours aren't at idle. Only the FLs really that need it - RLs / ASLs are all auto unless the fuses are played with.

  • how many bins did he hve to pick up lol

  • Enough. Why do you always say "lol"?!?!??! There's nothing funny!

  • idk and i dont any moore

  • hey mitch, its rob the driver of the truck here, good job/vids, and i thought you were just a kid with nothing to do.Just wanted to put my 5c worth regarding some of the comments.

first of all i hve been driving this truck since brand new approx 2004 and it is used 5 days pw,bar any mechanical probs

i take 2 products, paper in the bottom chamber & bottles co-mingle in the top,if u look close enough u can c the divider doing its job....none of the load goes 2 landfill ( part 1 )

  • haha well suprise suprise! Do you reckon they'll be going back to seperate trucks for the recycling?

  • Nice job Mitch. I drive a split truck for the same company. They're good as it saves time especially in the residential areas as you don't have to go around twice. Keep up the good work. Geo

  • Guess you found the vids :D

  • Very Nice, the truck looked a bit newer because the arm looked a bit stiff, if you know what I mean. I would of thought that having the 2 MJ's doing the units would of been more efficient, cause the Single Pass takes forever to pack when it gets full.

  • It's about the same age as the others I believe. You're right, two trucks'd be better...

  • Yeah if you're going to get ASLs, this is one of the best types of places, with all those lines of bins set out! If only Americans would follow rules about two or three foot intervals between the bins as perfectly as in that first shot!! Great video Mitch!

  • haha... putting the bins apart is the work of tthe bin guys who pull the out! Go in the residential streets and you'll find most the time they're squahed together or behind cars and so on

  • lol yep, tell me about it...squashed together ha ha!

  • A lot of cars parking in the dangerzone.

  • eyyz Mitch, EXCELLENT vid, luv these split trucks. What happened to the sound quality?? like its very Loud!, lol. NICE VID!

  • It's just my own camera, for some reason the sound on it's louder than the other camera, you just gotta lower the volume and then the quality improves. Real bummer!

  • nice job on this one

  • Sorry

  • just curious at 4:50 how did he know for sure if it was recycling? cuz there was no lid

did he just look inside and determine what it was

  • Wel first of all there's always a paper bin,and yes he drives by and you can see inside.

  • Nice! The truck is split right?

  • yup sure are if u look at the side of the body it says "look inside theres a divide" LOL

  • You've got some videos online of the packer in action on these types of trucks don't you Mitch?

  • Yep

  • nice job what a cool truck

  • Which one is being sent to landfill?

  • Both to the transfer station, don't think anyone actually looks at the painting thing on the side...

  • very nice mitch! interesting to see it done differently!! whens the ryde recycling going up?!! im eager to see it!!

  • In time, eventually, soon... lol Won't be long
