@oblivionmods22 You know......Skyrim really didn't have the vibe of oblivion. I felt happy just being there, and i think mods are a better alternative to skyrim. Skyrim is good, just really dumbed down (no repairing, perks, no classes, regenerating health)

@oblivionmods22, for a short simple explanation to your problem...you're missing meshes or something is corrupt in the mod. My suggestion for fixing the mod is to completely redownload it, and then reinstall it carefully follow every step in the readme one by one. Or to solve the problem very easily, GO PLAY SKYRIM! :D

did you active the .esp files? start the oblivion launcher, click data files and check them if you didn't. also you might need Oblivion mod manager and OBSE for some mods.

I kinda don't like your tastes. Some ARE essential like lighting and textures, but ancient towers? You can do way more things with Deadly Reflexes then slicing people in half. I give this a 6/10.

@SuperNumber777 Many computers will run this. Maybe not highest settings, but it will be playable. Look for an Intel dual-core or quad-core (AMD quad-cores are fine, too) and a minimum of a ATI Radeon HD 5770. 4GB of RAM minimum.

I just stopped using Deadly Reflex because I could not decapitate anyone...when I used the combustion spell (think thats what it was) my game crashed. Any ideas?

Since I see you're accustomed to modding oblivion, would you mind helping me on something? I'm trying to get one of the "better looking characters" things to work off tesnexus and I cant figure it out. I downloaded all the required files and extracted them from their rar files, and i put them into the data folder of oblivion but they dont seem to work...I'll give you more detailed information if you please

@MGSplaya Many of the mods I download come with nif or dds files and no esp because they require other mods for that, which I have those other mods, and they seem to work alright but the extra ones that alter appearance of characters like making girls look not-so-hideous and guys less retarded never seem to function...I guess i can manually put them into the BSA but its a pain

@GunerzPGBC i dont know if u still need help but, if the mod effects the imperial city in any other district than the temple district, it shouldnt matter. If it changes stuff in the temple district take a look at screenshots etc to see if it just a small mod or summet, ive got let the people drink which adds fountains there and have just beat dagon and it didnt effect things much. (i did have a problem, but i think thats to do with my oblivion being buggy ;) )

The reason the original oblivion was made on bathesdas old program and was not orgianally mad specifically for oblivion (or fallout) however bathesda recently made their own level design program, hence the improved graphics

@angeldust971, there is a mod on tesnexus that makes blood look more realistic for deadly reflexes - its called "blood textures for deadly reflexes", makes the textures look much darker.  Not sure what to do about the screams though, sorry.

If you see big yellow things that says you're missing mesh then you didn't install the specific mod correctly, possibly qarls texture pack if you're using that because it remodels the buildings. As for the loss of greetings, that's probably an .esp order flaw, BOSS will sort that out when you install it and use it accordingly.

@ramm2000, I would suggest a Radeon HD 4850...it has lasted me years...it plays Crysis on highest settings, etc....works great. I don't plan on replacing mine for years simply because it does it's job fine.

i have found a way to get fan made mods onto 360 and ps3 versions of oblivion if you make the mod then send it to bethesda they will put it on xbox live and the playstataion store of coarse you will get paid some of the profit
