@dacofly Paterno should not get a free pass. These were serious allegations reported to him by a Penn State graduate assistant. Witnessed by said assistant and not just hearsay. Paterno knew that it is something the police should investigate. Regardless of what the University President did or did not do, Paterno should have reported it after the University didn't. Paterno participated in the cover-up by not going to the police.
