  • @skrason @TheodoricuSimetricuS fuck you guys this is fuckin' dubstep

  • @nandoXbass Puhleeze, everyone knows this is shoegazer.

  • @skrason Of course i am.. I just don't like people who doesn't have a clue about music, to comment and decide what genre is the music.. (not referring on your comment :) ) so, i made one, to see the reaction... dude, i'm stoned! (don't) take me seriously ;Đ

  • @TheodoricuSimetricuS LOL. Awesome. I had a feeling you were pulling our legs.

  • Joey Beltram consumed a large chunk of my mind at the Orbit in 1993

  • i love this tune, it's great!

  • what a FAT ass tune

  • good times

  • about 15 years ago i was so amped beltram was playin a dark club in south australia. He pulled out all the thumpin deep classics. I was shocked that he fucked up nearly every mix! drums were doubling up, he was missing the drops couldnt believe my ears! Maybe he dosed up on Adelaide's bomb googs and went all thicky during his set.. didnt matter tho, it was still a great memory

  • @stuartdigs yeah must have been wasted!

  • @stuartdigs beltram in the early days was probably the worst mixer, but fukin hell the techno the man would play, out of this world, seen him all over the uk,beltram is and always will be the techno messiah, fact

  • @stuartdigs he dont wanna play well 4 the ozzys!!

the ashes will always be ours!! ...... techno is english!

  • @stuartdigs Notice how people make shit up like ''ooo i remember his set back in 92 and bla bla bollocks....no one cares just enjoy the song and shut up stop writing to complete strangers

  • @MYPRODZ listen little boy, you're pissing in your knickers cos the only memories you'll have when you become an adult will consist of shit 'already been done' auto tune tech with copycat loops. Some of us appreciate it cos we were there, and it was ALL new. Not because we seen it on youtube.

  • @stuartdigs Mate,as a producer i can tell you that this...aint nuffin special and it certainly wernt that new even back then, acid house trance and all that sort of shit has been about since the eighies mate, and you probz aint had nuffin to do with the movement or enifin, bet u wer into the stone roses or some other bullshit back then so clamp it and enjoy the tune u prick

  • complete time loop of a tune, never heard this version before...beast of a tune.

    fucking love it.

    nice one for the upload

  • i love these original discussions on youtube :p

  • @astralandrew :-))))))))))

  • This has got 2 be da classic Acid House Tune ever man!

  • Comment removed

  • all time classic,, best mixed with "champion sound".. for full on effect.

  • have to disagree with u there, best mixed with substance abuse, official response from windsor canada. btw joey beltram just found this cool sample saying ecstacy, doubtful he ever took "ecstacy" he was just a new york house head

  • he always insisted he was house music just with a darker edge. record labels he said were like no this is techno music so marketed as such

  • oh my, you are so learned!

  • oh you uk grubbers need to realize all the music u like came from detroit chicago and nyc with the exception of drum n bass. ask anyone who's the most famous dnb dj? theyll say dieselboy, from pittsburgh pa usa (and dont say ed rush or andy b, they dont spin records and when they do trainwreck) give it up dude, u will always fail

  • And what you need to realise is that even if the non-sense you're spouting here were true(it isnt) it still comes from Europe by default as your mongrel country was founded by Europeans so you yourself will be of European descent.

  • Sorry gave you the thumbs down by accident, but , WORD, you're soo right :))

  • Comment removed

  • yeah, but we had 30,000 people in a field for free raves. Stick that up yer shitter. Thats why the big movers were over here. We killed the scene, you were bumming each other in toilets of fag clubs. The music may be yours, but we had the scene. Id rather have my experiences of 88-92 than a claim to fam of my area making the music. And drum and bass is wank anyway. :-)

  • 100% prime beef -- have it !

  • bangin...

  • u guys are retarded.!

u know knothing of nyc back in the day nyc invendted rave faggots.!

  • Joey got rich and replaced the 707 with the 909. I liked the 707 more. Still nice stuff :)

  • orbit crew where the FUCK ARE YOU

  • morley and ossett crews here! alive n well in pontefract!....good old days!!

  • joey beltram i remember seeing him live in orbit i think my heads still fucked

  • same here.. then a week or so later, Jeff Mills propper fuckt it.. lol

  • I wanted to name our first child "Wanna-naaa-na-na, Naaa-naaa-na-na" after this track (my wife wasn't so keen).

  • Haha that made me laugh out loud.

  • HAHAHAHA LMFAO HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • genius

  • xtc + acid = energy flash

  • i'd say pretty much all dance music spawned from disco late 70,s early 80's, with stuff like donna summers ' i feel love' that feels like a modern dance tune today, all music is like the human race, it evolves

  • Yes, I agree. Reading the previous comments, I was thinking that there was a real techno sound in the 80's but it wasn't really "dance" orientated... like House Techno in 90'S...? More Disco as you say, and also new romantic type... Depeche Mode/Kraftwerk etc... I can't really visualise a warehouse with 000's of headcases running around it to Erasure, not for my nite out anyway!!!

Labels+genres?Gave up years ago, a tune is a tune u know it right away when u hear it.

    Great track also...

  • omg just shut up

  • How about New Beat ? That was the start of techno/house music in the 80's !

  • Nope.

  • Techno wouldn't exist if it weren't for House. It still falls under house music. ask around and stay off the acid, man

  • bullshit again ther was a techno sound long b4 house came out, kraftwerk and others, obviously at the time it wasn't techno, were do u get ur facts it's u that needs to lay of the acid. infact if you think about what makes a tune a techno tune, u'l realise that techno's sound had been used earlier than house's sound, so for that reason alone people can debate on it. techno would have definitly exsisted with or with out house music, ur mad for thinkin it wouldn't have, peace out

  • Techno wouldn't exist if it wasn't for House. SO, Techno is a form of House music. Stay off the acid, man

  • o and techno most certainly is not a form of house music, u need to get ejucated, fair enough ther was a time when dance music was quite simply dance music, but sayin techno came from house is like sayin house came from high energy. u do the math u obviously cant tell between genres, maybe u should take some acid to help open ur mind,

  • totally xtc :)

  • "energy flash" all time favorite track.

house as its was ment to be.

  • energy flash is a techno tune what r u on.

  • Techno is House when were you born.

  • bullshit techno came out at the same time when i was born u fool, inner city bigfun first techno tune in the charts came out a yeat after i was born, do ur research ther was techno tunes out b4 that to, cybotron clear. techno and house is always been two seperate styles, house just came out first, joey beltram certainly isnot house music, look it up. energy flash is a dark soundin techno tune, peace out

  • Whateva man, its still house music. ASK Jack he created it ;)

  • i was under the impression it was marshall jefferson that created it. jack the house

  • My friend i've givin up calling it by styles all the time. But your right. As my reaction was "House as it was ment to be". I recall to the sound that gives you that "House Feeling". I think Energy Flash is a great track. There are many styles that sound like shit. So in this case your right it is a deep, dark, delicious, Techno Tune. Sorry for the possible bad english ;) Hope you have a great 2009. Im gonna burn some home grown dutch shit. And listen to Energy Flash. PEACE
  • this is one of the best records av got, so sorry for any offence, i just thought u were one o these fools on youtube that talk shit. i realise now that your a dude. any one who likes energy flash has good taste. peace out

  • life just wouldn't be the same without this tune... i still cant believe it was ever made! when that acid line come is, everyones head pops

  • i want a 909 808 303 and jupiter 6 but they are all too expensive. wish i had a time machine and went back and bought them all for next to nothing(certainly the 909 808 303). and sampled chime well

  • go to hobnox audio tool, u'l get to use the 303 808 909 ul also get to safe ur tune up to 5min and publish it on the website, ul like it peace out, look for my tunes if u go on

  • Saw him on the pier in Scheveningen, the Netherlands, early nineties. He was just 21 or so, but mixed house as no-one did before. With his own records like mentasm, second phase, and the rest i forgot :-) Ouside it was rainy, inside it was steaming :-)

  • Hij was zelfs nog jonger volgens mij. Ik had toendertijd alle bandjes van de live mixen van Piste de Dans, Syllies en Gaultier....Gr. Natalie

  • THE BEST HOUSE TRACK EVER DESIGNED

  • Joey Beltram - Energy Flash, this song brings back plenty of drug filled memories from back in day, the very early 90's that is, i seen him live in Belfast, think it was one of the first all nighter's, feeling old now is the understatment of the year. Still bangs, turn up the base. Peace.

  • Top notch Choon, Lovin this acid house techno, think This Was a theme to Bpm, a clubbers proggy that used to be on telly back in the day too

  • brings back memories of sweat laden nights in the pure very early 90's god i feel bloody old now

  • HugoDuin knows his music...and his punctuation...full stop!

  • Know your classics. You cannot say this record sucks, period.

  • one of the best tracks ever beltram is a master

  • One of the best tracks ever to lose it to in my humble opinion.

  • Tune!

  • absolutely top notch tune. no question one of the best ever.

  • ooh man! :)

  • Best.

    Tune.

    Ever.

Sorry, but if you disagree you're the wrongest fucker on the planet.

  • So do you mean the Original or the Remix?

  • Get to FUCK you bunch of clowns....Energy Flash...and you should feel privelaged to see this if you were too young to be at the start of Techno as we know it...cheesy whisperings? Dicks.

  • That's right! Fregstep just said it! All you clowns and bitches out there! This is a classic and the begining of the Techno revolution. You must've been watching Rugrats when we were out the raving in the early 90's. Don't hate! Participate! At least pretend you know something and learn from it. This track is here to stay so deal with it, NSync loving biatch!

    Detroit!!!

  • Ah ok - I was guessing something like one of the old Bang the Acid remixes. Hard to know - so long ago now!

  • The original is an all time classic not sure about this version though - cheesy ecstasy related whisperings were never my cup of tea.

  • Not sure what you you mean by that. The 'cheesy ecstasy related whisperings' were a part of his original version. It's a classic...

  • Are you sure? the 88 Transmat release? I don't remember that feature of the track, but last time I listened to it was about 15 years ago, it just seems a bit chessy now.

  • yeah, I'm positive - the sample was always there. I think this must just be an excerpt of a mix lifted from some set. Sounds like there's another track playing along for the first 2 minutes or so, and it's being played a fair bit faster than the original record's speed. Still brings back the memories though!

  • sorry, correction, the Transmat release was 90, not 88 as I stated, R&S in 91.

  • sending thiss frommmm my phychatriccc ward3 still luvin it ,and still have original12" stuffed under my pillow. Dont tell doctor
