  • @justkarmatoo i like that!

  • @justkarmatoo i am still learning about video editing but its an amazing journey and process. My goal and intention is to have my own land and to build a greenhouse on it and the amount or information and people that have come my way just at the right time is miraculous ~! thank you for the comment!

  • No-knead bread is great. Made that for a time. Looking forward to vids on your rain barrel and tumbler. :)

  • @MakeupAddict4eva i am exited this year to see what will grow and how much i will harvest!

  • nice...you did a lot of work in there.Love the hand made composter! I see you didn't put little strings like everyone does to make the square feet. I find it useless...I know how big is a square foot! lol.....ahahahaah son of a bitch!!!!

  • @jihadacadien SOB lol the string idea is just dumb for a garden like mine. the string is good for beginner garden that wear the helmet on the special bus! i really like the way my garden turned out this year.

  • @MrGreenbudha AHAHAHAHH! Yeah it,s gonna be great if the weather cooperates.

  • @jihadacadien that is why i want a green house!!!

  • @MrGreenbudha Yeah i want a heated greehouse! Oh and that seaweed stuff.....was from the US so not recomending it.

  • @jihadacadien exactly - i am only sticking to canadian companies

  • @MrGreenbudha I hear you! Maritimes first for me, canadian after....and china last. I was kinda pissed when my ipod let china to come here =S

  • @jihadacadien Ah HA.........Denial. LOL

  • @flyinggig1 ;) no!

  • I'll try again later but YouTube has the hic-ups this morning I've tried to watch your video twice and it stops a 1:59 minutes and refuses to go further.

  • @dalecalder2003 i hope its just youtube! if not i will try and reload later on today!

  • @MrGreenbudha I just watch the whole video. That was a lot of work but you must be proud of the results that is a very neat and tidy garden. Your seedlings look very strong and healthy. I have a couple of container figs too no fruit on mine so far this spring but they don't ripen for me here anyway our season is just too short. Is that blue podded peas that you are growing I have them too and they are growing gang busters. A true heirloom developed by the Capution Monks in the 15th century.

  • @dalecalder2003 i cant remember if they are blue podded but i would love to get my hands on some seeds! i only get organic and heirloom seeds. i did a video on them. i am amazed at all the variety out there!

  • @MrGreenbudha Mine are called Blue Podded and they came from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, rareseeds. com they don't say they are organic so likely they are not. Very old as I said and are grown for drying to use in soups etc evidently not all that tasty fresh. I think the soup might take some getting used to too the peas are brown not green.

  • @dalecalder2003 i am going to order some!!

  • @MrGreenbudha I've got a head start on you mine are already two feet tall but with your climate you will likely have peas before me. I forgot to mention that the blossoms are almost as nice a sweet peas a light pink/mauve with a purple center.

  • @dalecalder2003 you have got to take some pics and show me! can you eat them???

  • @MrGreenbudha No blooms yet but I think there should be some in the next week or so the plants are growing fast. I think all parts of the pea plant are eatable. I know you can eat the tender chutes with new leaves they are delicious and taste just like fresh peas, great in a salad. I'll post a picture of the plants on my flickr account today. flickr. com/photos/dalecalder2003/

  • @dalecalder2003 went to flicker. wow i like the sand cherry! are they any good/

  • @MrGreenbudha I have never tasted one, actually I had never heard of them until I was looking at seed catalogs last fall. They grow in a paper husk like tomatillos do and are ripe when they fall off the plant onto the ground, thus the name. I guess the have the texture of tomatoes and a citrus taste you eat them fresh and can also make a jam form them. I think it is the same thing that the English call a Cape Gooseberry.

  • @MrGreenbudha Glad you said Sand Cherry I hadn't noticed that I did that they are Ground Cherries for some reason I want to call them Sand Cherries, maybe because I have a Sand Cherry shrub.

  • @dalecalder2003 never even heard of those...there is so much i want to learn- it will be useful when i get my land!
