@eviltube1111 tell you the truth alienware has the best support that any company could dream! i had warranty and they were amazing!!! i had problem with vram and they hired technician locally and they fixed my laptop in my house in 2 days! so you let me know better support than that! if you dont have warranty i know its expensive and not worth it!

ok this message is for dumb asses who thinks that this laptop is slower then their $200 netbook! please check the damn date on this video and tell me what kind of laptop did you have in early 2007. this is the first laptop IN THE WORLD that used 2 video cards (1GB total memory) SLI technology. this is extremely powerful laptop for late 2006 and early 2007 so go hate on other videos! thank you for the people who understands and supports me against trolls :)

Nothing against you personally but I really hate it when people say I have/it has a "1gb nvidia video card" without actually saying what the model number is. VRAM amount means nothing! It's what the video card specifically is that matters!

From what you said, the video cards are either SLI 8700m GT or SLI 8800m GTX. But no one knows for sure because you only said "NVIDIA 1gb SLI video card." And the 8800m GTX are around 3x stronger than the 8700m GT. HUGE DIFFERENCE!

I own and m17x, but I gotta say that this is one of my fave laptops. It looks very macbooky on the inside, and i love the design of the exteriour. Plus, i like te fact that alot of the connectivity is located on the back of the unit. Id still buy one of these, If i could find one on ebay.
