@JimBlasko BTW I think it was DJ Infinity that I heard open up a club back in Tampa years ago and that night he played a breakbeat track that sampled Dokken's In My Dreams. You wouldn't happen to know that track would you. I've been trying to hunt down the name of it for years so I can try and find it but I can't find any info at all. Thanks.
@mmontes15 I just listened to Dokken's In My Dreams and I dont' have anything that infiniti did with that song mixed in anywhere.. Doesn't mean it wasn't him because he mixes in alot of 80's samples.
@JimBlasko thanks for answering. As I recall it did sound like the song was cut that way, but it could have been a spontaneous sampling I guess. Sucks cause it was a great tune. It just sampled that beginning acapella, it built up to an ambient break where that vocal came in and then the breakbeat dropped again over the vocal. It was sick.
It's so funny this is on YouTube and EVERYONE commenting is talkin about Orlando and the epic club FIRESTONE and ofcourse Cyberzone. It just goes to show you that FL BREAKS in Otown will never die. Btw I obviously live in orlando and firestone is still open and holds events featuring breaks djs pretty often.
This is what I love about early electronic music. Mainly listened to FL breaks being from FL but also listen to a lot of other styles. Early electronic music mixed in a lot of 70s and 80s classics which exposed me to a lot of music being a teen in the late 90s probably would not have been exposed to. Now all the electronic music mix in songs that are new to the time period. So all the young kids don't get exposed to music generations from before which most of the time is a lot better.
I'm 19, my friends and I are at icon or firestone then 2 comes around party over...nah just head a few exits up to lee rd and hit up cyberzone! Teeth chattering, love everyone, no worries!!!! Damn I miss that time in life. Anyone got a time machine!!!! Now I know how my parents feel when they hear songs from the 50's and 60's
@ djhayze420 not to sound like a dick, (I love infiniti) but this is far from old school. I get the "old school" thing being relevent to when you began listening or playing out, but old school this is not. Funky Breaks, florida breaks, even breaks works, but old school, no.
Old school breaks = Pre Jungle, Post Acid House Time frame. (1990ish to 1994) with a few exceptions
Breaks made in the last 10 years are not Old School : )
I don't even think there are "old school" breaks lol. Here in Austin, college aged kids are eatin up 8bit breakbeats... Never mind Florida breaks, which are still hot all over. At least at parties in Texas, Louisiana and Florida that I've been to lately.

~Whoa... reminds me of a game ov Dungeons-n-Dragons trippin' on 10-strips ov funny paper laced triple-dip... the only thing missin' here is the goddess figure at end of space tunnel called 'Mad Dog Bitch=Queen ov a Thousand Insanities... maybe next time... LOLOL~
This song was the shit when it came out around 99..even DJ Blaze did a KooL version and maybe the best..I like The Human League..they were ahead of thier time..another amazing vid..Like the dancers mixed with Fractals...I am going to use the software you told me about soon..I am still being lazy bout redoing my operating system..it is working just ok for now so i am not in a hurry to re do the fraking thing.Looks like hella fun to work with these programs though...you know...Cheres..212...Dk
