@MTLBOBIRAS I do not accept the murder of children and a concept of three gods in one which makes no sence. And I do not interpret them. Scholars who studied Islam and arabic do. You must see when the verse came down, why, and what was going on. Unfountranitly it was right the third time. And the quran does state the bible is corrupt.

@mohammadbanibaker There is enough evidence to support the claim that the Quran may have been tampered with. Nobody knows where the original Quran is. The Quran that we have in our hands now is called the Uthman's Quran, which was collected long after Mohammed's death.

@mohammadbanibaker Parts of the original Quran must have been lost, after many of the reciters of the Quran died or were killed in battle. Uthman, the third Caliph (successor of Mohammed) gathered what was left of the Quran, arranged it by length of Surahs rather than chronologically, then burned all other existing copies.

@mohammadbanibaker Neither Christians nor Jews can reasonably be accused of altering their Scriptures. One reason is that they didn't have anything to gain from doing so, and if they did, they wouldn't willingly spill their blood defending it. In the book of Revelation God puts a severe punishment on those who add to or take away, any part of God's Word. (See Revelation 22:18 & 19)

I looked at the tafseer on a website by scholars under the Hashmit Government of Jordan, and the website even had the Goverment seal, and the tafseer was, at that time they were at war with Mecca. Many muslims, or so called muslims, went to the enemy LEADERS and traded with them with weapons and such forth. That verse is telling us not to take them as friends but only the leaders. @mohammadbanibaker Nowhere in the Quran, the Bible is referred to as being textualy corrupted. The verses in the Quran that Muslims use to accuse the Bible with textual corruption are only attempts used by some Muslims to defend Islam. Even if the Quran were to accuse the Bible of corruption, to substantiate this would be extremely difficult in light of what we have today in the manuscript and archaeological evidence.

...Regardless of the accusations people make, whether the Quran or the Bible is corrupt, each has to stand on its own.(1) Muhammad believed that he was mentioned in the Bible. How could he refer to a book that was corrupt, and speaking of him.
(2) Muhammad was trying to reach to Jews and some Christian sects. It would be impossible for these people to be reached if he accuses their Bible as corrupt.
