@imsoboredidk I was going to say, this sounds too flawless for a live show.Yeh, I know some can pull it off, but not this perfect. Also, it seems like the lead guitarist is not even playing, it truly, really looks like he's 'trying too hard' at 'air guitar', same with bassist. Who knows, The only talent I see in this is the lead singer. I love this song soooo freakin' much either way. YAH bless you!

That's kind of the point. My website's administrator interviewed Falling Up at Germany's Christmas Rock Night in 2006 and Jesse said that "Islander" was a small preview of what was to come in regards to the band's new album (obviously Captiva).

If you mean that it sounds like the album version, then you are correct. It's possible the maker of the video didn't like how the sound quality of the video came out, so he replaced the audio with a studio song instead.
