In where I live (Bristol, UK) there are 3 turbines near a river.

No its not Gernamy, but you are right in that way that some of the mechanics that's inside the Danish mills is produced in Germany, and some of the Danish windmill factorys have been bought up, and therefore is now owned by Siemens. But the biggest experties in constructing the mills is all in Danish
hands.
