The 5 songs Jason Malachi did on MJ's album would have been great on an album of his own. However, they would have remained virtually unknown like most of his stuff if he didn't put MJ's name on them. I like the guy's work, but I can have I wouldn't have heard any of it to know I like it if Sony didn't put it on MICHAEL.
For instance, Jason dis Best of Joy and I think that's the best track on the album.
@sysel777 In the liner notes in the album's booklet they don't credit anyone for lead or back up vocals for this song. Sony protected themselves from being sued because they know the lead vocal isn't MJ. The only parts that are truly him are the screams and oohs which they sampled from old MJ songs. Teddy Riley even admitted that he used old samples to finish the song on twitter on November 11. The true singer's vibrato is nothing like MJ's. Also, he did 4 "Hee's" and MJ would do 2 or 3. Fake.
@4evermjacksonfan Dudeif you even read it right, you would see the back up vocals are James Porte.. I have the album and i can see that right now looking here..Teddy riley admitted he used melodyne tech. on his vocals, which is why he sounds alittle different.. this song is only meant to show the listener what he was working on, it is no way a completed song.. get it straight and quit complaining about it..
@michaelfan86 The whole bit about Melodyne Teddy Riley talked about in the interview sounded like he pulled it from his ass as he was saying it. It makes no sense. If it was really Michael they'd have at least raised the pitch so his voice sounded like him and not deeper than normal. Plus, the vibrato is EXACTLY the same as Jason Malachi and NOTHING like Michael's.
However, one arguing for this being MJ simply needs to say "2000 Watts" and be done. :)
@schizowallflower well i think its him, i don't see how it isn't mike.. i just can't see it.. maybe they should have just not released that song in particular, they should had released a bunch of old Thriller left overs instead.. that woulda been acceptable right?
Some parts sound just like Michael....and many don't. God. Fuck Sony!

In some moments of this song I'm not sure this is Jackson's voice.
