Look up review on it most people would say it is NOT the same monster you've grown up with he originally was a symbol of Atomic War and was considered to be the Farenheit 9/11 of its time, it was dark and very realistic (...well as realistic as it CAN get) it was to a point were i was generally freaked out at someof the things in it, there is more to a movie than special effects and theres more to Godzilla to.
