  • brilliant haha

  • 3:43 ...

Luke: WTF am I going to do?

Mark Hamil: Time for a reefer

  • What exactly was Luke's plan when he grabbed the gun?

  • Wow, that was awesome! It's great to see the old figures in action like that.

  • This was great!

  • Luke looks like he was trying to offer the Rancor a doobie to burn, lol. Nice job though.

  • That was awesome!!! WOW! you did it scene for scene!! that was great!!

  • excellent, very good

  • awesome! what's up with leia's outfit tho??

  • @adjusttint

This was made before the new line of figures and they didn't have a slave outfit in the original line so I used the closest one I could think of.

  • ok, i'm just wondering why they made her that way, was it considered to racy or something for children to be playing with a scantily clad leia??

  • @adjusttint

The figure I used was the Leia in the bounty hunter Boushh disguise, the outfit she wore in the beginning of the movie. I don't know why they didn't make a slave Leia figure.

  • Not Bad,.The original"Kenner" figures& Playsets make it all more unique,.it's great How you Used Greedo amongst the'83 gen.reflecting on ROTJ,.I Like Both of the"Klattu's",.Perfect,Luke Taking His Weapon from Him (Skiff Guard),.Great Job,looks Awsome!

  • Thanks a lot! Glad you appreciate the vintage figures. The new Kenner line had not been created yet so the original figures were all I had. Did you notice the old Yakface and Amanaman figures as well? Those were pretty rare making it all the more authentic!

  • Quality dude, really liked that:o)

  • Eat some plasticine Rancor!

Great retro-intage-fun and still very good work!

I really like the fact you use ONLY the real figures and accesories from Kenner plus a little pieces of paper or so... THat's a nice touch. But... where´s Salacious Crumb?!!

  • I unfortunately lost my Salacious Crumb sometime in my childhood so I had to make do without it.

  • I'm going to recreate all the Jabba the Hutt scenes from Return of the Jedi in stop motion with action figures. Any suggestions?

  • Good luck and have fun.

  • better than some of mines I made this year

  • Comment removed

  • It wasn't so much a compliment. Just saying I didn't embarrass myself for making it so quickly when I was 16 years old.

  • so cool dude, and you just choose the perfect scene

  • rancors rock awesome job

  • great video!!!!

  • Superb. This was something I always wanted to do with my figures but never had the camera. Have you seen the making of R.O.T.J. docu? George Lucas actulally did similar work to yours in his preparation before filming.

  • luke found a giant doobie

  • aaahahah thats what i was thinkin, 'cept i thought it was an actual doobie that just looked big compared to the toys

  • That was spot on! What a commitment!

  • this is really great!!!

    well done!

  • seks

  • great!

  • this is very good. how long did it take to film this entire thing?

  • For this movie I didn't build any sets or anything. I just sat down and worked on it for 18 hours until it was finished back in the fall of 1993.

  • This is great! better the the real one :)

  • good job!

  • do u still do this?

  • Yes I still do Stop-motion animation. I'm working on one now.

  • awesome im trying stop motion what kind of camera do u reccommend?

  • THAT IS COOL!

    Wow that's great! excellent work.

how old were you back in 93?

  • Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed my movie. I was 17 back in 1993.

  • rasa nabooey wookie nipple pinchy

  • u did great when luke was falling into the pit

    nice work man

  • poor gamorrean T_T .Great work.

  • nothings better than that scene except that scene in toy form awesome!!!!

  • Wow, you did a really good job. Very awesome. It's almos like they are alive, great stop motion animation.

  • this is realy, really cool. the one thing I would do if you did another one of these is to take a few more pictures a second- it would make it less "choppy"

  • I wish I could have taken more frames a second but it was 1993 and the only camera I had was a crappy 8mm video camera that my parents bought in 1989. It only was able to shoot 6 frames per second. Check out my movie Covert Operatives. I used all 24 frames per second of the 16mm film I shot on for that movie and it's less choppy.

  • Your work obviously influenced the creators of the "Plastic Mini Ryan" 'franchise'.... THIS IS PIONEERING STUFF!

  • unbeliavable! You have a great talent.

  • Excellent work. This is what YouTube is all about. 5'd.

  • that was great!

  • excellent work , especially for 1993. Nice job

  • just seeing this made me want to say that you have really great timing. so 5 stars man. Return of the Jedi was awesome

  • Nice frame for frame homage. In fact I think its pretty cool you managed to get this done in 18 hours. Some people would take a few days to get everything in time as good as you did.

It's even more of an achievement when you did this back in the day when only VHS was available. It must have been painful to keep pausing the tape for reference!

  • Best part was when the Gammorrean Guard was "snacked". It looked very authentic.

  • SWEET STOP MOTION DuD3!!! ExXxelent collection of Star Wars figures!

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeber shnnnobbble

  • Thats pretty cool dude. Pretty much frame for frame accuracy.

  • Quite a collection of Star Wars action figures!

  • Was luke armed with mighty Joint

  • I see you did not have "Jabbas pet thing" Still very f**cking awsome!

  • My friend will love this

  • wow I thought he was giving him a nice phat joint!

  • Fuckin Awsome

  • the mighty jabba proclares his greatness to the people of tatooine!
