how come the carbs are on the outside of the cylinderheads and the exhaust is in the inside of the cylinderheads. what advantage does this have? more hp?

Enzo was a caring person to those who knew him,

but he also had a tinge in him that inside he liked some of the drivers to get on the so called ragged edge to take a little more of a chance to see if they could stay

out in front,

or take that extra chance that they wouldnt normally do,

sorta like Adolfo Celli playing Enzo in Grand Prix with James Garner,

Just a little more ragged edge than normal to see if a win can be taken,

By far my favorite F1 car. Although it was considered almost a failure in that it did not win a championship, the 1967 312 was different. It looked amazing and the exhaust had a distinct screaming growl.

I have some wonderful photos of my Dad talking to the Ferrari mechanics at the 1967 Canadian GP, standing next to Chris Amon's 312.
