This is just like Morrissey's cover. It's excellent but the lyrics are the best. Morrissey's version is better though. He sings it with meaning. This version turns into meaningless stadium rock.

When this came out weren't you making Empires and Dance or Sons/Sisters (as good as anything ever recorded). You should have stopped when Forbes left your band and taken up an alternative profession.
