  • You wont see your hair grow like crazy but you will defenetly see new hair follicles comming back and it takes time.. reducing stress, massaging your scalp with your fingers or a massager with teeth is very good too.. but I know that just paniking about the situation when I look in to the mirror doesnt really help. I also am going to try a shampoo bawang... recomended by another youtuber and found it on ebay and see if it helps me like it did her. Best luck with it and hope the tips help :)

  • With the onion, I just chopped it and mosed it up with a food processor, and then squeezed the (juice) out of it by placing the onion mouse in to a clean cloth and squeezing it... you can place that in to a droper and just run the droper trough the clean scalp and leave it overnight.. wash next morning, trying it once or twice a week and see how it works.. not washing your hair so often is good too... and the castor oil you just massage it in to the clean scalp now and then...

  • hi...

You are sooo brave, and funny and fun to listen to.. I can relate to your issue and I am trying it all... so here is what I have tried and worked... castor oil... onion serum and using shampoo with no sulfate such as laureth sulfate or any sulfate or just plain go natural.. such as the water with baking soda solution and water with vinegar solution for conditioning the hair. Rogane and other products may have side effects and might not work on just thining of the hair.

  • Oh goodness you look so young!!

  • u look so young and bretty,,,i have like ur hairloss and i;m 22

  • You can use Bawang anti-hair fall. It may have a strong smell, but it works great

  • u are great and beautiful lady! god bless you, wish u all the best!!! Its not only hair what make us women beautiful!! Its other things as well! Your personality is great! You are nice lady, nice make up, nice nails so cheer up!! all best for you!!!

  • You don't look 52. I went through bad hair loss and weight gain at 30. It is soo stressful which doesn't help the situation. Thanks for this video. This happens to more women then we know, yet it is not talked about.

  • ALSO! Don't worry. People have said things about my hair before like, "you're hair is really thin on your part". A hairdresser said to me when I was 16, "it is such a shame that you have thin hair because you face is so pretty". Another said something along the lines of, "I am just happy with my hair because as a hair dresser you see people with really thin hair & too thick hair so I am just so happy mine is thick".... so offensive like HELLO! =) Be happy the way God made you.

  • You look great for your age! =D such beautiful skin and make-up! I can relate to you. I am 21 & my hair is very thin & getting thinner as I am getting older. It started when I was about 15 but I think it could have been because I had anorexia and bulimia and the lack of nourishment to my body did something to my hair growth. It is also genetic in my family but I think the dieting added to the problem. I love you so much =) stay strong =D Don't use straightners on your hair.

  • my hair is starting to thin also. You said your 50. No way!! I would have guessed 10 or more years younger. What do you do to your skin?

  • Hi. Thank you for the video. I am only 23 and I am currently losing my hair. Same places as a matter of fact. I am using Nioxin and I am still waiting for the effect. I know how you feel and I am as stressed about it as you are. I hope everything works out =]

  • smoke crack

  • Dear Precious Lady:

If your medication and health condition were the problem, you would be losing hair all over your body. The thinning and itching will stop and the hair at your crown will begin to grow when you neutralize the leftover remnant of color and other additives that are probably still left in the soft tissues and follicle of your scalp. Go to a beauty supply store, in the "Black Hair Care" Section. Ask for a "Neutralizing Shampoo".(any brand). After shampooing do hot oil trtmt.

  • Im sorry that you have pcos. I have hair loss for 13yrs it started when I had a c-section . Now I'm using a Mexican shampoo called cacananhuanche the bottle is $12.00. And my hair is coming back but guess what rogain found out and they ban border crossing of it. The 1 billion a yr industry. also get off suger and bread and eat food . Stop drinking soda all these food clog our body and don't let our body function, I had swollen thyroid but kaiser never told me I've been reading and self diagnosi

  • why dont u use hair extensions=??? I would

  • Wig's are so much fun and there are so very many to choose form these days... I have just been diagnosed with PCOS.... Keep strong my friend...XoxoX m

  • You Are So Brave

  • Did you try with spironolactone?

  • I'm 25 and i am getting thin hair in the front. It is horrible my hair used to be so thick. I have cycts on my ovaries and I have oily skin on my face. I told my doctor I think I have polycystic disease and she doesnt believe me even though my other doctor saw many cysts on my ovaries. She doesnt believe I am having hair loss but I am like crazy. Where can I find a doctor that gives a crap ! Will getting the cysts removed help me? If this is causing hairloss what else is it doing to my body?

  • @LightParanormal I'm sorry you had to go thru the problems you did with your dr. I'm assuming she [dr.] is your family dr. I had my OB-GYN diagnois my PCOS b/c I speculated for 6yrs I had it secretly. I had all tell-tell signs for PCOS. I had a ultrasound done and my right ovary is loaded w/cysts. There's a surgery -- I cant think of the name -- that removes only 1 ovary, but a lot of drs will do it as a last result. Since you're baring age, most drs won't dare perform the surgery on you.

  • @regisnyder thanks for the reply. I never thought about getting diagnosed by an obgyn that sounds better. My scalp is really itch and has little bumps I wonder what this is? I just moved to a new city so I guess maybe its the hard water?

  • I suffer from female hair loss too because of PCOS. Have you ever considered wearing wigs, they sell really beautiful mono top ones now? You can't even tell they are a wig. This is what I do now.

  • GO TRY ZX 42 , WATCH THE VIDEO IMPEACH BALDNESS FOREVER VIDEO 4 WE HAVE A PRODUCT FOR MEN AND WOMEN

  • Hello honey,

I am going through the SAME thing. I JUST found out about PCOS and I am awaiting the final diagnosis but I am 100% sure that I have it. My hair is going through the SAME very thing as you sweety and it is SOOOO DEPRESSING

I actually recently bought pro extensions bangs clip on and it has made a WORLD of difference in my sanity. I will be doing ALOT of research on this and when I find some more out I will let you know

    XOXOXOXO BIG HUGS

  • You are very pretty. I can't believe you said your 50? Have you tried taking fish oil? If that alone doesnt work then putting the oil straight on your scalp as well as the pills. At night only of course cus it's stinky but it would nourish your scalp. I liked your personality In your movie seem like a cool friend

  • Thank you for sharing your very personal hair loss moments. I invite you to take a look at MY hair loss video :) If you are a Rogaine or Minoxidil user, both men and women, this is a MUST SEE VIDEO! It's a bit infomercial-ish, but I can show you how to get the most amazing results for your Minoxidil product. I hope you like it and please if you have any questions, i am happy to answerer anything I can :)

  • It sucks having thin hair. I shaved my hair off because of it. Recently my sides are growing back when I changed my diet, but my crown is still thin. :( I'm 18 years old and I've suffered with this since I was 11 or 12 years old. Other parts of my hair are so freaking thick. But my crown and sides just got really thin.

  • *are

  • Wow, you ate so amazing for sharing your story! Thank you :)

  • Gals don't give up! I was having all the symptoms of PCOS but turned out I was type 2 diabetic, and honestly I was just heavy. My doc put me on Metformin 500mg 2x/day and I am seeing results. I've lost 23 pounds in a month and a half, the fat cells that were producing testosterone are starting to go byebye and my hair is getting thicker! I think you are an incredibly brave woman to show this video. HUGE props to you <3

  • im 21 and have hair just like yours. Thanks to PCOS. The moment I hit puberty my hair fell out. I had THICK black hair and I lost it. Well Iv been getting copper link extensions on and off to help. Its just something you live with and learn to accept it. I just started taking saw palmetto and nature bounties hair skin and hairs to help with the hair. DHT is the main reason of hair loss and testosterone is the culprit. If what im doing helps with my problems I will make a video in 6 months!

  • I also have PCOS. I have about as much hair as you do, except mine is frizzy and medium brown. I swear I am turning into a man. I used to have a mustache which I eloctrolisized and I also gained a lot of weight and now have issues with my blood sugar. I am looking into a postiche. You clip them on top of your head and they look natural. Search youtube for alopecia and you will see some women who use it.

  • I'm 15 and i have PCOS too,my hair is almost as thin as yours, its black though so its really noticeable :(

  • I'm 29 and have had PCOS since my early teens and have as much hair as you! To create the appearance of somewhat normal hair and to hide my balding area, I wear my hair half up half down with a piece of clip-in hair at the back. Two women at work have actually had the nerve to make comments about my hair! One said "you need to do something about your hair" and another said "why don't you ever change your hair style?" I seriously wanted to strangle them for their ignorance! Ugh! :(

  • did you say you're 52?!?!?!?!? Girl, you look 30....not even joking.

  • @thecrazzyshow keep in mind the more fat on your face the less wrinkles "fact"

  • big hugs and thank you for being real :)

  • Bless your pea pickin heart for showing this for all the world to see and sharing this with all of us. I just found out I have PCOS my hair was thick enough and had body and as time goes on it has gotten thinner and has no body at all! I am trying to get a handle on this it could be much worse I could have something much worse but I would love to have my hair the way it was. I hope all is well!

  • My SIL is an endocron..and thinks I have pcos. My hair is super thin and getting thinner. It started in my 20's and now it is the point i've thought about shaving my hair off and wearing a wig. It sucks. I've started to wear hats to cover it up. :(

  • I have very thin hair and have been ashamed of it for a long time. I related so much to your video. My SIL is an endrocr and she thinks I have PCOS. My hair has been thinning since I was in my mid 20's and I did not have thick hair to begin with. I do part my hair at the side and find ways to cover up the extreme thinness. I've used rograine which made no diff. I've thought about shaving my hair off and wearing a wig. I've started wearing hats to cover my thin hair. :(

  • I too have pcos i have had it since i was 15..i am now 38..my hair has always been super curly, but the past few months, my hair has straightened and is now thin and flat!! It really bothers me..

  • I'm so glad that I"m not the only one with this problem. I keep losing a lot of hair and have for years now. I"m planning on shaving my head tomorrow and wear a wig and keep it like that. I know it's drastic, but I am starting to lose large chunks of hair every week, and my hair is short anyway, so I don't have much left. I am in no way telling other women to shave their heads, because I wouldn't do that, but if you do you can tell me how it worked out for you! Thanks so much for posting!:)

  • Hi to all my PCOS sisters!! I too have very very thin hair. It been ongoing for about 15 yrs. now. ( I'm 30). I actually use the Jerome Russel Hair Thickener. (Not trying to sell promise.) At times it tends to be messy around the pillow cases. But other than that- I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this spray.. It gives me a little piece of mind that my scalp isn't so noticeable....Thanks for sharing your story...I don't feel so alone in this situation!!

  • Hi i saw your video and i too have pcos and my hair is starting to thin out.. they tell me its cause of the metformin. but i was going to ask you if you ended up trying the rogaine and if it worked?

  • I had beautiful hair until i got in my 20s then it started thinning. was diagnosed with pcos at 24. I try not to put too much product on my hair so it wont be weighed down.....oh, and cute doggie!

  • i am 52 and i have this too ... i have tried nioxion .. to no avail, static freaks my hair out and it always looks dirty, as in clings to my head. i read that thin hair attracts oils instead of washing it every other day you should wash it daily with a detergent shampoo... this is why prell generally thought a crappy shampoo works so well on my hair! or use powder shampoos so i am trying.. i think i am gonna shave my head and just wear wigs! hugs to you i know how you feel! have fun in France!

  • Thanks for the help! It's so funny because Prell always worked well on my hair. Might have to consider giving it another go around. Watched some of your vids.. you look fabulous, woman.. spunky-chic and with great advice and inspiration. Thanks and oui oui we shall :)

  • PS, are you on anything? I'm on spiro, bc, and rogaine.

  • Oh my! I'm sorry but I accidentally removed your first msg! I hit remove rather than reply! That is very sad, what you say, about having to go through the thinning hair at such a young age. I feel for ya. No, I have not tried any products.. how long have you been on the 3 you mention? Any results at all? Considering trying Rogaine but just not sure it's worth the $.. do you think so? Best to you, hon.

  • For PCOS I am taking Metformin (forever, gah) but I don't know of any advantages.. I'm tempted to try the Rogaine big time. Feel like it's a worthwhile shot? Which do you use and does it weigh your hair down? xx thanks!

  • hey gurl thanks for the inspiring coments...now your gonna laugh but ive been using a hair serum with heres the gross part..placent eww but honestly it works u look amazing ttyl muah xoxoxo shelly

  • Thanks so much, Megss! You hit the nail on the head when you mention doing a style to let my hair look more cared for. I'm trying to wait until our spring trip, as I mention in the vid, but it's getting more difficult. I just want them to have some hair to work with :) Thanks again, you!

  • I've really been enjoying your videos! Your puppy is adorable! I have long thinnish hair, too. Have you tried drying with a big-barrel ( 3") round brush? Maybe consider combination of highlights and lowlights-- upkeep is such a pain, but contrast might make your hair look fuller. Maybe try pulling your bangs straight back from your face and pin 'em like that. Your hair fell like that around 3:00 and looked great. I am excited to see and hear about your paris haircut!

  • What a sweetheart you are! Thanks so much for both the praise and the ideas! I have not tried the round-brush drying method, no, but it's easy to find them here. I'll check it out! And it's funny you mention the contrast of hi- and low-lights because I've been planning it. And btw, you think that pup is cute (he is!!), we have another one just as adorable.. soon to come perhaps :) Tack Tack!
