  • you forgot about condensation, that will damage your pc with time :S

  • just put isopropyl alcohol in there with dry ice, this is very similar to the effects of liquid Nitrogen

  • lol my pc gets cooler with toothpaste...

  • Dry ice is much better and you dont hawe to clean the water after because dry ice Co2 so no water :) !!

  • use dry ice !

  • kool! let us Boil some water nd have tea!

  • mr fusion??? where's the rest of the DeLorean....hahah

  • cant u freeze ur cpu ????!!!

  • @Jacr805 no. there are WAY more extreme temps out there. people boot with CPU temps as low as -280c

  • it will be god to make a small hole and a tube for the water pička

  • Can a CPU get to low in temperature?

  • @TheBigEminemFan Yeah, some guys use liquid nitrogen, cores that are below -100 degrees.

  • Is that "SAFE"!

  • amg awsome :X

  • bringing your cpu temperature, or heat sink, or anything on your computer below ambient temperature is not recommended as condensation will kill the electronics, especially if there is dust in the environment

  • Put ur system in freezer.. lol

  • What about the ice once it does melt, the temp for it will go back to normal at some point in the day to like 66F to 75F

  • @keiki646 yes and you after a while you couldn't add more without pumping it

  • you can use dry ice instead, it will cool your CPU to -71C as its base temp.

  • -71Cْ ??!!

    wt d fuk man?

  • exessively cold temperatures are nto necessarily good for the cpu either. plus dry ice is mroe expensive and evaportaes in a fraction of the time it takes normal ice to melt

  • Yeh right, like this is cheap, all u gotta buy is like a cooling system for 800$ first...

  • oh and salt with water does something to make it go colder? tell me

  • lol ok

  • I didn't know normal ice could make a cpu do -1 to -2c

  • It is possible for ice to colder than freezing.

  • how did you made it :O ? 5stars! and dont let fall the ice on your motherboard XD

  • HEY DUDE, MAKE THIS BETTER:

to make this better, ad a little saltwater to it, the salt will stop the water from freezing and the water will be able to go to sub-zero tempratures. a liquid is also better at exchanging heat and it covers good surface area.

  • lol babe the computer needs ice

  • ice?

is theres any moisture below the metal sheet?

  • They make "Refridgerators" coolers. called Vapo-Chill Units.

Thats a cool idea man. What base did you use Copper or aluminum?

Coppers supposed to conduct heat better while aluminum likes to give its energy up easier.

  • Add salt! Makes the ice last longer and very very cold :D

  • Damm, i freezed my hands...

  • okay?

  • Yes... ( Don't play with salt. I aidentaly put 1 Kg...)

  • What does that have to freezing your hands off? lol

All salt does is make the freezing point in water lower so it stays colder for a longer period of time. That's how you make icecream! :D

  • just add some red bull and a straw!!!!

  • yeah, we should bypass refrigerator pipes to cpu's in our rooms, that would do it XD

  • why not just put ur comp in the fridge?

  • Comment removed

  • Wouldn't work the same, the heatsink will still heat up as it can only dicipate heat so fast regardless of temperature (eventually it will get cold). If you run a refrigerant line to a cooling block, and have a constant flow of liquid cooling, it cools much faster and more efficiently.

  • It might be a good idea to start with distilled water if you DO decide to do this, since it wont conduct electricity when it leaks.

  • u should put some juice and liquor then start shaking it it should make a nice cocktail u idiot now if any one of u know a real easy nad cheap way to cool a pc pls pt me

  • hey lets fill it up with ice every 5 min yay

  • hahaha :P

  • take dry ice its better

  • I WOULD SUGGEST LIQUOR COOLED

  • I guess it's nice if you don't want your computer safe inside a case lol.

  • dude that will last like a mintue then it leaks all ovr ur comp and breaks....were u stoned making this vid???

  • wtf!! that will last 5 seconds with crysis on high, do we have to invest in a permanent supply of ice?, lol

  • well... its like a steam locomotive ...with the coal.. u just need someone to just pure ice in... as long as the pc works :P

  • whats that thing in which he put ice??

  • its like an aluminum tube... the thicker the better, that is welded on a block witch sits in the processor cooling it

  • Um you know how sometimes the ice melts when it comes into contact with your skin, what iff you drop some of that water on your motherboard? Doesnt look very safe to me

  • this is kinda jewish

  • hahaha :D kinda jewish :)

  • great idea .. but how are u gonna drain the water out?

  • if you dont have any other type of "extreme cooling" this will be fine if you want to run some quick benchs

  • how are you going to drain the water out and it must be annoying to replace the ice every few minutes?

  • e isso nao derrete num instante? :O

  • não, das 2 vezes que ja experimentei durou 30min com temperaturas decentes (decentes = >0)
