Or if you want to talk about last year, PSU's homecoming game was against Minnesota, handing them their biggest shutout loss of 2009, one of two shutout losses for the Gophers, who only had seven first downs. Historically Penn State is an irrelevant program.

The program and it's fans have come up with the delusion that this team is actually good, when it is one of the most inconsistent programs in college football history.

You have one good season followed by a season or period of being decent or mediocre at best, which is why you will once again be irrelevant in 2008.

they are always around or above the 2 loss area, this year they have been playing very poorly i will admit. with how weak their schedule was is this year they should have done a lot better... they play bama the next two years.. it will be interesting to see them play against a real team because if they dont change some stuff around they are going to get their shit tossed around.

@bmatta25 Penn State mostly did good in 2009 I thought, especially on defense. We just imploded late in our three big games, costing us two of them. For example, we led 10-5 over Iowa early in the 4th and we only trailed Ohio State 10-7 until very late in the third quarter, and then in the Capital One Bowl, we led 16-3 over LSU, and then we nearly screw it up. I think 2010 will be ugly, but 2010 should be good.

can you imagine if they expand the stadium.....we could bump up the student section to around 25,000 instead of it being at 21,000 now- and it would be easy as hell (under 5 million) the total pop. could get to around 135,000
