  • As of now the total melt value of those half dollars is $781.68!

  • Lucky bastard!!!

  • Banks actually sort coins to REMOVE all silver coins. This is so funny, some dumb teller at your bank didn't know this and gave you the sorted silver rolls, ahahahaha! Nice going, man, stick it to the greedy banks.

  • Nice find but you should really blow your nose AHAHAHAHAHA

  • huntin for silver coins in the states is so much easier than in canada, all you have to do is look at the side of the quarters or half dollars and if it looks copper its not silver. Canadian coins are counterfeited by the mint very effectively...unfortunately

  • Are you willing to sell any of these??

  • I mean as in someone had to stolen them and cash them in or forgot that they rolled silver and put them in the box. Because there is no way the bank or someone else would cash in silver for face when they can get more. I don't know you so I can't judge you.

  • Hmmmmmmmm kinda fishy to me.......

  • @MikeyMikeM21 believe what you want, but that was the most silver I had ever seen at that time, and I was totally baffled. I don't know if you mean fishy as in I faked it, or fishy as in there isn't any silver left, but I swear I was genuinely freaked out and all the times I've done it since this has never happened.

  • @Prepper7 just get 400 dollars of silver. lol. Keep doing that and than you will have silver. No one is willing to do that tho.

  • 90 percent.... nice... i bought a box of dimes and got to silvers... bought a hundred in halfs and got twp rolls of bi-centennial halves... lol ii will try each week.. cool

  • google the website coinflation

  • damn dude your lucky as hell

  • Daannngggg

  • And for those of you without much luck, you're not alone. Most people who find them in large quantities either go to previously un-hunted banks, or had impecable timing and bought them just after some old person exchanged them for cash without understanding their value.

  • You can tell they are silver by the edges of the coins, as well as the dates. Silver coins have grey/silver edges with no copper bands. 1965-1970 are 40%. and all pre 1965 halves are 90%

  • how do you know its silver guys

  • blow your damn nose man

  • @PickerNation lol sorry i was hungover and just got done eating 5 star thai food

  • @PickerNation good haul ... stay away from thai

  • fuck you

  • @TheLegodorks just a fuck you? Care to tell me why?

  • @TheLegodorks Your like 12 years old, I'll school you at legos

  • roughly 900 bucks if that's all the 90% you got.... that's an epic haul, dude. You doubled what you paid for.

  • ive gone through like 5 boxes of $500 in halves and havnt found a single silver half dollar. I must have the shittiest luck in the world.

  • In silver they are valued $869.58 right now if all are 90% silver

  • nice profit

  • you beat my unbeatable box , effing amazing i wonder if my video inspired you

  • the bicentennial yars with an S mint mark are proofs and have silver i think they are 40% or clad not sure

  • Hi if the dates are 1964 and alder that r 90% silver and if thay r 1965 -1969 that r 40% silver

  • Umm I think it's like 500 to 600$ worth of silver dude n u got lucky the banks arnt mention to sell u the silver 1s and the 1940 1s r 90% silver

  • good job. keep it up Soldier.

  • A another SLA Soldier win :)

  • wow i watched this five times just to hear the sound of that silver!

  • @vtgelectronics yesssssssssssssssssss i have come to absolutely adore the sound

  • LUCKY BASTARD !

  • how much did u make dude

  • @TheRahul9898 I sold the 40%'s with a silver spoon i had for 411.00, still have all the 90%'s

  • @Prepper7 DANG DUDE!

over $400 of Silver in just 1 trip?

me too. i went to the bank and get $10 worth of pennies and over 700 of them are 50's 100 are 40's 30 are 30's 10 are 20's and 25 of 1910's :O

  • @pdlumina Lol, bullshit.

  • @David12King well actually when I went down to the coin shop in my city the guy at the counter said people go in there all the time and exchange the 40% coins for 90% coins.

  • @Prepper7 Even then, it's still worth melt value. I have several zip lock bags of 40%s, doesn't bother me. Big dealers will buy $500 face value bags of 40% from you @ a few cents less than spot price. No different than 90% in that respect.

  • 90% silver

  • @btwadenewfie yep

  • Hey man the mercury dimes are worth a couple of bucks a piece now

  • Love the attitude ! That is awesome!! Congrats! HH!

  • What teh F#$&! How lucky. Nice video bro!

  • Liberty Chicks lol Good job

  • Thats a win for the little guy on the street and a kick in the plums for j p morgan, I am happy for you man, take care.

Ps check out drutter's video on how to clean those up to a mirror shine, for the 40% coins might want to add some white vinegar to his mix in the tarnish removal 'bath' then get rid of the dirt under the running water with baking soda, they will come up like new.

    coinflation but silvercoinstoday c o m silver-calculators us-silver-coin-calculator is easier I recon.

  • Nice haul dude, you said there were 66 silver halves? if they are all 1964 and older they have 90% Silver content in them and according to Coin flation.com with the spot price of Silver being what it say's is $47.94 you have $1,144.42 worth of Silver in those bad boy's! Good job and go check out that site!

  • @jdmjr71 silver when down to 41$ damn

  • nice finds, i would recommend not selling the silver yet though :)
