@Vincent50 Hi Vincent- very glad to see a new comment on this song! Oh yes, you so right about Brenda's voice. You just can't get enough of her. Thanks for commenting!
@simon4186 Hello simon4186! Thanks for stopping to comment on the lovely Ms. Holloway! I think it's a fine testament that for an artist who didn't get the full Motown backing, she still is a star of the first order- and she's still gaining new fans! Thanks very much for commenting!
@pdaw6313 I really appreciate your comments of how much you enjoy Brenda! I'm with you- how great we have these recordings of the fantastic Motown artists! Keep listening and watching, my friend!
@calwaite Thanks for sharing your comment here- yes- a Masterpiece! I couldn't have described it better and I'm glad you expressed it. Brenda Holloway was one of the most gifted singers to record for Motown. There are plenty more of her songs recorded for the label that no one ever got to hear until just recently. Each is magnificent to hear. Brenda has a way of caressing a lyric that makes you really, I mean REALLY stop and listen to her. Thanks again for your great comments!
@BarneyUSMC Hello Barney! Many thanks for commenting and I'm so glad you like this song. It is an amazing track that is light years from the usual uptempo songs Motown was known for. I often wonder if that's what kept some of these songs from being released- maybe they felt it was a bit too out of that "Motown Sound" hit formula. At any rate, I'm happy this is going to be a new favorite for you!
What a lovely, lovely voice. Ashamed to admit that I'd never heard of Ms Holloway before, so thank you very much for sharing.
The bigger shame of course is that Taylor Swift was also singing about a dreamy boy last night at the Grammys. Contrast that sad performance to this scintillating one and there you have it: forty years of music devolution.
I never heard this song but Brenda knocks this song out of the park. She was one hell of a sexy balladeir. Her voice is so unique and sweet.

Ms. Brenda Holloway... What more can I say about such an accomplished musician and first and foremost a first songstress? I LOVE MOTOWN!
