This is a beautiful updo. I like how you aren't pulling too tight. It's very classy. I just posted a video, but I was looking at the pics, and I think I pulled too tight on my edges. It's still a cute style though, if you get to check it out, you'll see. I'll post a video response, but I'll have to most definitely try this updo.

I don't have an account with youtube but I love to watch videos on locs. My locs r the same length and color as yours before you colored it red. I've been wanting to color my hair red but afraid to do so because of my work environment. I like ur present color and want to know exactly what color u used. I looked 4 the color that you posted but it suggested using only on dark hair. I want that color but not sure if will damage my hair b/c it's light 1/2 way down to the end. Any Suggestings?

You just need to deep condition. Understand that you may have a color variance on the ends due to the light color, but it should be slight. I will be nice. Make sure the buy enough color to do the whole head as locks take more color than "loose" hair. And remember rinse rinse rinse and when you think you've rinsed enough rinse somemore. I suggest in the shower. Hope this helps some.

Yes Faruyn, winging styles like this is the beauty of locs. As my locs have gotten longer I find that so many of the impromptu updos look better when my locs have little texture (crinkles,curls).

And the red on you looks cute. I hope you win the longevity battle as that color always kicked my behind by fading out on me.
