I liked the fact that they showed the "dark side" of Jamaica. Me and my sister talked about Jamaica yesterday, I said that I want to go there one day, and she said that she would like to go to the "real" jamaica, not the part that commersials shows or magazines have pictures of. No country is perfect, each has it's less "friendly" parts, including Sweden where I live :P

I thought the same thing. I have Maroons from St. James as some of my ancestors. I have also have ancestors that migrated from Cuba to Jamaica (so some of my relatives look Latino). The thing to realize with the documentary is that it focuses mainly on Kingston and the Maroons don't have much presence there.
