Thing is, if your behaviour is despicable such as taunting a terminally ill child (which sadly is not a crime) and you end up in court (due to another crime), whether your guilty or not most people will want to see her punished more for her treatment of the child than anything else. If i was in the jury I'd certainly vote her guilty, whether she was or not over that particular crime due to her cruelty and unexcusable behaviour. May sound corrupt but the world isn't that simple...
