Inccorect, liceence £50 is your house is perfect, youknow that things like lcks on windows and doors and things add up, yes £250 for a 1920s pump action, jamming shotgun. £600 upwards for a decent gun, secondhand or otherwise. storage cabinate, second hand can be £60 ach but you have to buy rounds and on a 12 gauge add to about £10-30 per outing, also you have to pay the site to use and that is normally atleast £20 a pop, so no its ALOT more EXPENSIVE

yes it is approx. 390+ out the box the 370 I quoted was with hop on. I have since changed the spring and get 350 fps now. I've had the gun for 2 years now and the only thing I have had to fix was the tappet plate spring. Great gun will never sell it :)

I have that gun. Got it yesterday. It's accurate as hell, phenomenal power and rate of fire. It can shoot accurately (a grouping within half a 25 cm radious for over 40-50 meters. (no kidding). Truely the best gun I've ever seen.

The SUSAT is made by STAR the Airsoft manufacturer that makes the AEG and is full metal with everything except the radioactive insides, it's as close to the real steel without actually being the real steel. tbh I rarely use the SUSAT while skirmishing and bought it soley as I think the gun looks alot nicer with it than the standard carry handle. I'm fussy too lol

the scopes pretty decent,...the susat the call it,..the rifle on the other hand is excellent..the iron scope is shite (which needs 2 be calibrated personally) but other than that its a efficiant weapon,..iv seen someone get shot in the foot and the exit wound pummuling out of the shoulder..nice stuff :) haha

I'll not reccomend the place I bought this any more as the guy is far too unreliable (you can look further back in comments to find out if you really want to) Most UK Airsoft Retailers will get this into stock for you, outside of the UK I have no idea. (Redwolf in HK possibly)

The real thing is a beauty. The A1 variant took alot of flak and well deserved as it was extremely unreliable. However the A2 version is amongst the best small-arms weapons in the world. Demitry - Yes it is made of metal apart from the bits you'd expect to be made of plastic. To clarify this is an AIRSOFT weapon - you can get these made by STAR Airsoft from most Airsoft suppliers.

There is nothing wrong with the A2. It's more reliable than an M16 (proven) and it's fucking accurate. I never had a problem with it in Helmand. Fantastic weapon.

The L85A2's magazine doesnt fall off, the only way it can come off is if it is damaged or the magazine isn't fitted correctly. The ammunition is small for a reason. Most (if not all) NATO countries use 5.56mm rounds to injure and not kill. By doing this, the gun has little recoil (allowing for more precise aiming in automatic) and causes 3 people to leave the firefight instead of 1 (one man goes down, 2drag him to safety).

A wounded soldier needs attention from his comrades, a dead soldier is just that, dead. So, I wound that one guy, now his mate probably won't leave him there, so he drags him to cover. Now you have put two enemies temporarily out of the fight, instead of the one if you kill him. Besides, if you put headshots in a combat situation, you're one helluva marksman. Then there's the psychological effect the screams of a dying man has.

The gearbox casing is plastic all internal gears are metal and very good standard, just had my gearbox apart to replace tappet spring - first thing to go wrong in over a year - not bad!!

Hey. I have been trained up with the real one and now I own the STAR version. It's very realistic. The only downside for it's build is slow stripping (Compared to real model).. You need a phillips head screwdriver to strip this, real one just has pins. Apart from that, fantastic build and great for its airsoft intentions :)

Actually the L85A2 version of the SA80 is VERY reliable and has won awards as stated in earlier comments!

The Star L85A2 on it's own is approx £400 and the SUSAT Scope is another £100.

It is legal. FPS (feet per second) out the box is approx 400 which is not allowed on most UK sites and so you would need to fit a weaker spring to be allowed to play. They fire 6mm Plastic BB's. Hope this answers your questions :)
