@randomdude1426 Thanks for commenting. Have you posted a video of you playing the Anthem part of R30 Overture the correct way? I'd love to learn from it. Please send a video response of you playing R30 and I will post it here. This way, everyone can see the right way. My bad.
If I could have enough money to buy just a simple set like Neil used to have during when they were recording Fly By Night. Then I could be able to learn some of the easier Rush songs. I'm saying this because I'm more of a bass guy, but I want to be able to play the drums even barely as good as you. And I see you're 11, so am I. My birthday is next week so.... yeah.
Do Geddy and Alex have your phone number in case Neil's motorcycle breaks down and he can't get to the gig? It's fun to play Rush, innit? Great job Owen...
For 11 this is very good. Uve got a pretty serious set going on there. I wish I had that kind of money lol. Great playing still. Wonder what u'll be like when ur oldr. Beastly thats what
Man who tunes ur drums they sounds so awesome. Personally I would have had the 3rd rack tom a little higher like peart has it but hey that not my set. I know uve got a teacher and all but I think u should look up some YouTube vids on how to hold stcks and make strokes efficiently. It will really help with speed and protect ur hands from numbness and long term damage
WOW!!!!!! I spoke to your family 7/28/11 in Ocean City.....We are all loving your talent...My son plays the guitar...He started when he was 7 and he is now 8 and a half...It's great to show him your videos....I can only hope he keeps the music in him like you do!!!! Awesome Owen!!!!!
Hey man i know ive commented befor but have you seen RUSH live i got second row tickets for june in austin nd was wonderin if uve seen emm btw any new vids comin??
@astros2021 Yes! I've seen Rush three times. twice at Mohegan Sun Casino and once at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Thanks for the comment and I'm glad that you enjoyed.
@astros2021 Thanks for the comment!!!! Those, on the badge, are Vision drums. Really, they are Masters because I upgraded the heads and the mounting system from ISS to OptiMount. The only slight difference between Masters and Visions are the lugs, which are almost identical. The shells themselves are the same.
@STUCKintheBUSH Thanks man!!! If you watch Tom Sawyer or Spirit of Radio, I got a front crash. It is low and over my bass drum so it is easy to reach.
@BarrysDaughter About 3 a day, so probably 21 weekly (working on practicing more). I just recently began homeschooling so I can focus more on my drumming.
@OwensDrumming That is brilliant that you have parents that want to encourage your talent. I have homeschooled both my kids for a time and know that you will flourish. So much time is wasted in school with breaks and assemblies and all the other rubbish, You will be able to have a few hours of intense school work and then get onto your kit. I can't wait to see how far you go Good Luck :0) xxxJoolsxxx
u played anthem wrong
