  • I live in USA , cool Accent, cool video, I'm new at this game making stuff and i want to make a killer 1st game ,but i don't know shit about game making, any ideas how to start?

  • This sounds like a BBC special.

  • @repoman256 yap

  • I like your voice, sounds like a tv voice over

  • But remember: The Express Version is only for not-commercial projects. That means, that you aren't allowed to sell a game, created with the Express Version of Visual Studio.

  • lol this is retarted. hes basically publishing the starter kit game it does not by any means only take 2 days to program a game then a few days to change the graphics. ive been making a game and ive been working on it for a couple months. maybe not every day but still a couple months and im not that close to finishing.

  • I like you, you are a proper person.

  • Hello, interesting video. Have you tried bee4biz (Google it) they actually pay a lot more and convert better I now earn like 12 times more. You get paid for locking content.

  • Thank you for this.

  • i like this video, very pragmatic approach, is there a part 2?

  • +1 for Art Rage. That software is very impressive.

  • 4:33 even more like Charlie Brooker than the other bits

  • Generally speaking, it usually frowned upon by XNA Community Members to base a commercial game off of a starter-kit unless you've done some serious editing to it. They're primarily meant to kick-start you and get you interested in programming games.

  • heh, that was pretty smart, using AnimeStudio for the sprite sheet, i never thought of that. Anyway, i agree, I've made a butt-load of games in XNA, and I've released Zero, due to graphics concerns.... oh well. Maybe i'll put vids of my games up soon

  • I MAED A GAME WITH ZOMBIES IN IT

  • you look like McCain from Stargate series lol :P

  • Oops, my mistake, 5*'s....

  • Nice, and YES XNA IS FREE and you SHOULD start with books because it's a better ground for game development, but I would recommend using gamemaker to learn how the procedure goes, getting user input, etc....

  • What studio to make u make character 7:48 what the name of it

  • were should i start porgrammin in xna like vids books what

  • um... what kind of pad was that and what did you use to make the new character for your game? im very new to this and im really interested in stuff like that. i jus started days ago so i would appreciate the help.

  • so theres pre-made xna games... just great!!

now im nor only competing with other people but also the xbox development team!!! what ever happened to originality?

  • Thanks for posting this! I'm an artist, but I don't know how to code very well. I've used Unreal Engine 3 and Sandbox 2 but I feel like getting back to the roots of gaming and I think XNA is just great. Keep us posted on your progress!

    ~Vancouver.

  • what can u do with Unreal Engine 3

  • is XNA free?

  • Yes. Adding it to the market is not.

  • you rock

  • this project died right?

  • i hope people make xna games for the zune hd

  • very cool thanx!)))

  • This dude inadvertently photographed some pretty interesting chem trails at the beach.

  • Very nice, this video's really helped me, I'm in the same position as you, I've coded a game but I'm really not an artist lol. I'm gonna look into those softwares you mentioned, I've been googling trying to find something to help with the art and that ami-studio seems like just the thing! :) Hope to see more videos from you

  • Any updates to this or is the project dead?

  • Where can i learn how to start programing C# ? (source code)

  • @biomasterizing

read a fucking book instead of watching crappy losers code in XNA dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • @biomasterizing The book called C# for Dummies is a good place to start.

  • I'm thinking of making one as well, for the fun of it.

  • Have a CC account now mate, do you still need a reviewer? :)

  • where can i find the XNA and Visual Downloads? Can you link in private message?

  • WoW! How cool are those templates!

Game assets are always a nightmare.

Nice work, is that the legendary shed you are filming in there??

  • hi matey!

Yes indeed, the shed acheives fame :-)

Still brushing up on the graphics - need another XNA CC memeber to sign off....Got a membership yet?

  • Only the one that comes with a DBP registration so I can code for the 360, but need to get a full one for when we finish our projects and want to get them into play test and then peer review. I may know some artists that could help you out, want me to ask around?
