I live in USA , cool Accent, cool video, I'm new at this game making stuff and i want to make a killer 1st game ,but i don't know shit about game making, any ideas how to start?
But remember: The Express Version is only for not-commercial projects. That means, that you aren't allowed to sell a game, created with the Express Version of Visual Studio.
lol this is retarted. hes basically publishing the starter kit game it does not by any means only take 2 days to program a game then a few days to change the graphics. ive been making a game and ive been working on it for a couple months. maybe not every day but still a couple months and im not that close to finishing.
Hello, interesting video. Have you tried bee4biz (Google it) they actually pay a lot more and convert better I now earn like 12 times more. You get paid for locking content.
Generally speaking, it usually frowned upon by XNA Community Members to base a commercial game off of a starter-kit unless you've done some serious editing to it. They're primarily meant to kick-start you and get you interested in programming games.
heh, that was pretty smart, using AnimeStudio for the sprite sheet, i never thought of that. Anyway, i agree, I've made a butt-load of games in XNA, and I've released Zero, due to graphics concerns.... oh well. Maybe i'll put vids of my games up soon
Nice, and YES XNA IS FREE and you SHOULD start with books because it's a better ground for game development, but I would recommend using gamemaker to learn how the procedure goes, getting user input, etc....
um... what kind of pad was that and what did you use to make the new character for your game? im very new to this and im really interested in stuff like that. i jus started days ago so i would appreciate the help.
Thanks for posting this! I'm an artist, but I don't know how to code very well. I've used Unreal Engine 3 and Sandbox 2 but I feel like getting back to the roots of gaming and I think XNA is just great. Keep us posted on your progress!
Very nice, this video's really helped me, I'm in the same position as you, I've coded a game but I'm really not an artist lol. I'm gonna look into those softwares you mentioned, I've been googling trying to find something to help with the art and that ami-studio seems like just the thing! :) Hope to see more videos from you
Im an animator, have been for the last 7 years or so, used to using flash. Been making my own games in C# for the last months or so now. what kinda project you working on i may be interested in helping you
Only the one that comes with a DBP registration so I can code for the 360, but need to get a full one for when we finish our projects and want to get them into play test and then peer review. I may know some artists that could help you out, want me to ask around?
