  • 8 bit music always sounds better at the lowest quality. :D

  • has anyone ever wondered why its even called legend of zelda when links the hero

  • @Thejayster85 1/10

  • if they had this in the classic nes game

  • midna wins fi sucks i miss you midna :(

  • better than the origional

  • 240p sounds amazin!!! :)

  • It's Desperate Hour, not Lament. Lament is different.

  • @evilpolarbear7 no it's Lament

  • @evilpolarbear7 Actually Midna's Lament and Midna's Desperate Hour are the same song. Everyone called it Midna's Desperate Hour, but then Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out with this song titled Midna's Lament. Now it has 2 names XD

  • @evilpolarbear7

Lamet actually stands for something sad and desperate, Desperate Hour really is a synonmn to Lamet.

  • @TheShadowTreasurer Way to spell Lament right...

  • i like how 240p sounds better than 360p :D only in 8-bit ^.^

  • This does not sound like something you would here on the NES

  • @ryan9169 what about on a gameboy?

  • @WafflesFromHeaven Yeah in a way it does

  • Sorry link, zelda is in another castle

  • 2 people though the dislike button said "Dis i like"

  • 2 people obviously thought the "Dislike" button was a download link.

  • Sounds like it belongs in Chrono Trigger.

  • it.s beautiful your really good!!!

  • 16 bit you mean

  • that damn wolf needs to lay of the viagra when talking with midna, shes white as a fucking ghost.

  • or even better "Please Insert 8-bit awesomeness here"

  • *Lays out a NES and put a sign in front of it saying Insert 8 Bit Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess here*

  • YO this is really really awesome, i was expecting it to sound like shit but this is basically the same song just 2 dimmensions away from the wii version. ur the fucking man

  • Midna: I AM ERROR

  • awesome!

  • 2 people are retarded -__-

  • Sounds like GCXSS or whatever its called to me.

  • This sounds like a game-over theme...

  • ahhh...reminds me of the old days of playing zelda..back when it was 2D

  • I'm imagining:

    The Mother Games.

  • Its kinda sad thinking about minda in suffering. the main part thats sad is at 0:56

  • @jukeachuthepikachu What are you saying? 2:57 is the saddest.

  • I love this part of the game... It's probably one of my favorites, if not THE favorite. lol

The music makes it that much more amazing, and hearing it in 8-bit is...AWESOME. :)

  • It's perfect.

  • That's awesome!

  • Sounds like Game Gear (If any of you even remember what that is)

  • @enclosedfury Sega Game gear! I had one, it was the shat.

  • You sir, have defined the very word: Epic

  • wow now all we need is a NES Twilight Princess where we see Wolf Link and Midna in 8-Bit

  • I would always fool around on this part just to listen to the music.

  • This could go in a Twilight Princess retro game! :D

  • I'm imagining an 8 bit wolf carrying injured 8 bit midna back to 8 bit hyrule castle as fast as blast processing can take him.

  • @Ironstringz I want to be a wolf...

  • @Snakemast345 everytime i hear music like that when im playing at dark i feel so fresh and free

I DNT KNOW WHY ITS LIKE IM A WOLF OR SOMETHING !!

  • @Ironstringz but isn't blast processing a sega genesis thing not NES? lol.

  • @Ironstringz but blast processing is 16 bit! D:

  • @Ironstringz LOL same here.

  • @Ironstringz I can see that, this game would be awsome even in 8-bit!

  • this reminds me of a dungeon in links awakening.

  • @TheLittlestEmu i was just thinking the same thing!

  • truly genious

  • i hated this part of the game, not only was it sad but i have a hard time on the zelda games without a walkthrough and i had problems trying to figure out what to do

  • @LegosRock223 simple go to hyrule castle go to telma's bar get kicked out push the box walk over the goron's

on the tightropes (dont hit the jars) then you should be able to find the rest of your way

  • @Blackpapalink i figured it out after a while, it was just to make a point, zelda games for someone with ADHD, lie me, are freakin hard because the take forever and have almost impossible puzzles

  • @LegosRock223 Is that what it is? I thought it was because the graphics were realistic to a point where it like almost hides the most obvious things just by using the graphics. Like the bugs in Kakariko Village… took me so long to find all of those that by the time I did I forgot I could open the doors in the village! XD

  • @Betsy7Cat that's just nintendo spending to much time focusing on a secondary objective and ignoring a primary one, which is pretty rare

  • Better than the original

  • New Ds soundtrack?

  • Download link is broken.

  • That's good....

  • @Leon53535 lol wut?

  • @Leon53535 just get fruity loops, then you dont have to worry about anything

  • What program did you use?

  • This is sick. I <3 it :)

  • if Midna made an appearance in Oracle of Ages, this would probobly be the song they'd have used.

  • Wow it's like this was MADE to be in 8-bit!

  • I felt really sad when Midna was in trouble...But if Midna actually looked the way she did when she needed help...That would be awesome!

  • Link is broken. T_T (No pun intended)

  • @britaki psshh. HOUSEbroken maybe.

  • A bit too fast but otherwise, amazing job <3

  • man......................... CLASSIC!!!!!!!!

  • gosh. super good job here

  • Minimal instrumentation from the original means you don't have to worry so much about the limitations of the NES polyphony. - Great choice! Done very well :)

  • this vs the ocean theme 8-bit is a tough contest for most epic 8-bit song, i mean if i heard this or that on a gameboy game id be freaking inlove...

  • As good as the original! Very sombre.

  • They Should Make A Twilight Princess For NES Back Then =(

  • this is nice

  • Sounds like you are under water

  • Reminds me of the Tarm Ruins from Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons.

  • @RustySporks

Lol yea, this song could be used in the Oracale Zeldas and Link's Awakening, very nice xD Sort of brings back memories from when I played Zelda on my GameBoys :x

    Sweet theme in any way!

  • what program did you use to make this? is it mac compatible?

  • listening to this its sounds like it came from the first wario land game O.O

  • This proves that Zelda did not change its style of music.

  • I can seriously imagine this seen on a gameboy or something..with this song O.O Love it!

  • I need to know what program you used to make this!

  • but it'll never fit on an 8-but cartridge

  • klinkt niet zo slecht voor een oud nintendo spel :P

  • surprisingly good for an 8-bit song :)

  • surprisingly good for an 8-bit song :)

  • Comment removed

  • sounds more of a 16-bit to me. but awesome 8-bit remixes. 5/5

  • Does anyone relaize this is a copy of space junk galaxy in super mario galaxy?

  • @trueking128

its made by the same company, who cares.

Hyrule Field, sounds like a theme from pokemon.

    Again SAME COMPANY.

nobody cares about a company copying a song from a vid game made by THE SAME COMPANY.

  • @trueking128 Twilight princess came before Super Mario Galaxy by about a year. If anything, Space Junk Galaxy is a rip off of this.

  • @musiclvr133 youre a moron

  • In this format, the song resembles the soundtrack in the Oracle/Awakening games.

  • almost sound 32 bit to me... but its still very good *5*

  • sounds a bit more than 8bit to me.

  • Wolf Link looks scary in art form, but in the game he looks like you could walk up to him and pet him. . . I wonder why. . .

  • it sound so COOL in 8 bit but really it sounds good either way

  • this song sounds like it was made for 8 bit

  • sounds like GBA, not NES

  • even if its 8 bit it sounds beautiful

  • Famitracker?

  • love it. 5/5.

  • awesometastic

  • reminds me of a link to the past lol however that was 16bit

  • @TheGamerOfAllGamers : The site you used to upload this is now down. Can you reupload on something that isn't rapidshare ie. megaupload or fileshack?

  • how did u do this?

  • 8D 8 bit ftw!!!!!!

  • 8-bit WIN!!! you sir (or madame) are pure genius for posting this video

  • X3 I love 8-bit! This souds sho pretty...I love Midna's Lament....

  • W-O-W !!

  • GO 8-BIT! :D

  • It reminded me of the water temple from the LOZ Oracle series or something like that ^^ love this!!

  • I love it!!!

  • wow, not only does this sound sad and creepy, but perfect, this actually sounds like something you would hear in maybe a magical place in a zelda nes game, or hell an nes rpg storyline part? (cutscene basically)

  • It's indeed a music played during a sad part of the game(won't spoil).

  • don't worry i played it many times, this version to me just seems to be better than it's actual counterpart, and like i said i can here this in an rpg cutscene on the nes or something, so touching...

  • This, good sir, gave me the chills. Almost reminds me of a level in "Monster Party" for those of you who have played that.

  • O.O I feel chilled to the bone...

  • 0:56

  • Very nice sounding.

    I'm pleased

    5 Stars

  • just plain epic, kudos to you

  • Anyone else got goosebumps?

    Lol.

    It's pretty eerie.

  • I know I did!

  • The origional was sad but this... this is......haunting.........

  • miley cyrus's face?

  • Dude. where did you get that from?

  • you said "this is haunting"

  • 8-bit TP.. creative idea

  • Dude, I thought Midna was gonna DIE when I got to this part.

  • yea me 2

i thought there was a timer somewhere and like, when it hits 0:00 midna dies and you have to do it again

  • it should be called summers lament right now i am currently mourning the death of summer

  • i love this song

  • I like this more than the original

  • I'm having a pretty cool mental image of an 8- or 16-bit version of Twilight Princess. Maybe someone should do it like that idea that was passed around of a 16-bit version of Ocarina of Time based on ALttP...

  • This could work if TP was ever made for the GameBoy. Otherwise, I like the actual music better... Nothing against anything. ^-^

  • i love this! 5/5

  • Amazing..I love it

  • its like twilight princess on the NES

    still chilling even in 8-bit

  • Comment removed

  • reminds me a lot of the original dungeon theme

  • the music in twilight princess was the best out of all the zelda game musicals

  • I can definitely see this in a GB Zelda game, esp. OOS and/or OOA.

  • Minish Cap-y. I like.

  • HAHA SO COOOLL!!!! xD

  • BD LOLOLOLOLOLOL COOL

  • this song would be so epic if it could have been in an old zelda game...

  • i died

  • that wouldn't of happend if i was their .

  • i died again

  • I could /actually/ picture this in The Legend of Zelda unlike others I've heard! 8D Nice job!

  • Beautiful.

  • If this would've been in an older game, I would've cried.

  • sounds like something out of a nes zelda dungeon

  • we are in video-game history. legendary game

  • the legend of zelda truly is a game i will be proud to say in the future that "i played it"

  • hmmm... still pretty :)

  • NIce job man! this is purely 8 bits song, not like others that claims that have 8 bits songs and they are more like MIDI songs.

    Cheers

  • already (that means that i agree with you)

  • That sounds very cool ^^

    *putting this to favourites* .___.

  • Sounds like a level for Link's Awakening. Really nice sounding, even on 8-bit.

  • i love both this versioun and the original

  • I kinda like the old GB games more than the new ones. Dont get me wrong they are really good in graphics and all, but I grew up with oracles of ages and such and I just prefer them more. Wish i had those games now >.> nice video anyway.
